Back from the nursery drop off and straight into bed with some marmite toast and left over Christmas chocolates. Is this a judgeable offence like the whole pyjama thing or does everyone eat in bed?

Just make sure you clear the bed of crumbs but no I would do it if I could. Marmite toast crumbs are the worst!

No. No way. The crumbs would drive me bonkers. Cup of coffee, yep but we never eat in bed.

I personally think eating in bed is a bit grim and would feel wrong doing it (a bit like I'd feel about wearing PJs in public!), but wouldnt judge you for doing it - you are the only one having to deal with crumbs in the bed!

your bed, your life, hun Grin

Marmite toast in bed is one of life's little pleasures.
Sadly haven't done it in years since marrying a "grown-up" but I can still remember those halcyon days Smile

Eating in bed is fine so long as you don't get crumbs everywhere! Toast crumbs are the worst.

I think by some peoples standards I am a bit grim .

Just done the school run, now having a homey baguette, satsuma and coffee in bed!

Marmited and toast-crumbed? It's all down to your outlook on life. You could either class it akin to being tarred and feathered or see it as a really hippy exfoliation technique.

My DH often brings up things like the leftover of the spag Bol and then leaves the plate on the bedside table. When we wake up in the morning the smell of bolognese sauce and the sight of it dried up on the plate makes me go mental at him!

Drinks: yes
Cereal: yes
Anything else: NO - particularly hot food. Although cereal in warm milk is fine Grin

Croissant crumbs are far less irritating than toast crumbs so I suggest a change to croissants for in-bed snacking.

It's a baguette eaten in a warm snuggly location...or honey!

DH brings me Marmite toast and tea in bed every morning and follows it up with a cup of coffee. He is away all this week and I am suffering.

I had cereal in bed this morning instead of toast because my mouth is sore. Otherwise it would TOTALLY have been brown toast with lashings of butter and orange marmalade. I'm v careful with crumbs, and sweep them all out before I get up properly.

On the other hand, my 7 year old won't eat toast in bed any more because she makes so many crumbs that it's too much even for her, which is fair enough.
