surely noone can defend that?

It's three and a half months till easter. What possible reason could there be for the supermarkets to have hot cross buns and easter eggs already?

Hot cross buns are all year round. They've been Christmas day breakfast here for a few years.

We were in WHSmith on 27th December spending the DCs Christmas vouchers and I saw a mini eggs and chocolate bunnies Easter display near the cash desk!

I do wonder who the fuck has space to store Easter eggs for months - it's not like they're compact.

I love spiced buns and would gladly eat them all year. But why do they need the crosses on? Just sell sticky spiced fruited buns.

I have a breadmaker HCB recipe that comes out beautifully (obvs just make the dough in the breadmaker then shape and bake in the oven).

YABU - they need to sell easter related products now because at Easter they will need every inch of available floor space for Septembers new school uniforms. Grin

YANBU. Bloody hot cross buns being available all year round and so bloody delicious. How's a person ever supposed to lose weight with those feckers staring up at me every time I go to Sainsbury's. I love a HCB #cries
