I joined mumsnet this year . I have been annoyed, shocked and upset at some of the things posted on here. I do get a bit frustrated at potentially life changing advice being given on the basis of very little information provided . But most of the time I am amazed at the support offered to people in very difficult circumstances , and I laugh out loud at the incredible wit (and sarcasm) of some of the posters . So happy new year to you all - hope 2017 is good to you and yours

Wishing everyone health, happiness and good fortune in 2017.
To those struggling with some really tough situations, you remain in our thoughts...
There have been quite a few (ongoing) threads in particular which really touched me, both by the subject matter and by the massive support and collective wisdom shown by MNers to the OPs.
Careful: that 'Nest of Vipers' reputation may be in danger of slipping
