AIBU?

To have chips with Brie and gravy?

And maybe some jalapeƱos?

Dh reckons it sounds disgusting. I reckon it sounds epic. We have hardly any food in the house until tomorrow so it's all Christmas leftovers.

AIBU? And if not that, what else do you suggest for lunch that isn't boring old cheese and crackers?

Any cranberry sauce to go with?

If you want to eat it then you should eat it.

Personally I think brie and gravy sounds a bit 'special' but if you like it then go for it.

I could totally do that. Jalapenos as a garnish are genius Grin

Oooh, you devil, sounds fab. Although I wouldn't have the gravy. And the cheese Grin...

Chips and cheddar and gravy is delicious. Not sure the brie would work in the sane way.

Brie and cranberry sarnie with chips on the side?

Chips and Brie? Fine
Chips and gravy? Fine

Chips, Brie and gravy? Wrong.

Oooooh, I'm a little bit hungover and that sounds immense. I might drag myself to the chippy.

Toastie not toaster. Bit too crunchy if you try & eat a toaster.

Brie an gravy? No thanks but I don't have to suffer eating
Brie and chips? Sounds nice to me. I now and then make deep fried breaded Brie with chips

Make a sandwich and have a side of chips?

I've got no bread left otherwise it would totally be a Brie sandwich. No cranberry sauce as we didn't have a roast (we had kebabs Grin).

I'm gonna go for it. I'll report back in half an hour.

Yes. Or rather, this is something one does at about midnight after too many beers and doesn't talk about afterwards. Wink

Ditch the gravy. Everything else sounds fine.

I feel like the Canadians do a similar dish with Cheese and gravy? I say go for it, nothing that has brie on it can be gross!

I love chips and gravy. Would leave the brie out of it though....

Cheese and gravy sounds awful to me to be honest, especially Brie . šŸ˜±

Any Thai sweet chilli dipping sauce then?

It does need some sort of condiment to finish it off.

I'd cook the chips, then slice the brie and put on on the chips, top with the jalapeƱos and put it all under the grill for a couple of minutes until it's bubbling.

Is the Brie under the gravy? That might be a bit gross...

Brie under the gravy so it goes all melty.

I should say that I often have chips with mozzarella and gravy so there is a precedent. It's just that I've run out of mozzarella and have a surfeit of Brie.
