I'm laying on the day bed in the livingroom cuddling a kitten. Dd1&2 are on their kindle fires and dd3 crawled down the stairs at 9am (she's 5 and usually up at 7am!) and she's now curled up asleep under a blanket on the sofa. Friend is coming in half an hour so I will get dressed but this kitten is too damn cute so I'm not moving! Christmassed out in this house!

This Is our first day at home after a long drive home yesterday and our first day alone since the 23td, we need a quick shop but apart from that will be lazing about all day.
Dh got huffy when I said this as he thinks dd2 needs fresh air and excercise so I guess he won't be having such a relaxing day as me

I've made it into the bath. Dd has gone back to bed with her kindle, ds2 is playing with his playmobil and ds1 is his usual crazy self, he's already been out in the garden.

I've been at work since 8.30

Had to work yesterday today long day and tomorrow before I'm off sat sun and mon then back to the grind stone Tuesday.
Meanwhile dh and dc are at home in bed watching DVDs and chilling,just like they did yesterday.
Am gutted as not allowed to take annual leave in this three days between xmas and new year although I can never understand why as it's deathly quiet and there's only so much you can flipping clean
