Guesses on what it is please? Lol

SparkleChristmasGlitter Sun 25-Dec-16 01:04:03

Is it from the children?

If not from children, it's probably a generic smelly set

VimFuego101 Sun 25-Dec-16 01:06:06

A tarantula.

thegoodnameshadgone Sun 25-Dec-16 01:07:31

No it's actually from him. I've bought him a decent present every year since we split 3 years ago so he has something to open from the baby but never ever had a present back. I'm dying to know what it is lol

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface Sun 25-Dec-16 01:08:48

Something connected to your current hobby, in your favourite colour, correct size and beautifully wrapped. The perfect gift.

I reckon that would be freakier than something shit.

MothertotheLordsofmisrule Sun 25-Dec-16 01:09:23

Probably a item of clothing passive aggressively one size too big.

Or a smelly set with one item missing.

dangermouseisace Sun 25-Dec-16 01:09:56

some lotion/potion for a potentially embarrassing personal care/health problem e.g. haemorrhoid cream. Or a bar of chocolate if he's put his hatred to one side for the sake of being a decent human being.

lalalalyra Sun 25-Dec-16 01:10:26

Is he the passive aggressive type?

My friends ex bought her a nutribullet from the kids. On the face of it a nice, and generous gift, but it was actually another dig at her weight and a repeat of his previous pushes for her to start some smoothie diet.

thegoodnameshadgone Sun 25-Dec-16 01:13:09

I'm thinking perfume called
Poison lol.
We never parted
On bad terms
But this is so out the ordinary for
Him. I don't even get s
Mother's Day card
Out of the fucker lol

SaucyJack Sun 25-Dec-16 01:13:57

A framed photo of him and his new girlfriend.

SaucyJack Sun 25-Dec-16 01:14:53

Are you writing in haiku, or is your layout wonky?

thegoodnameshadgone Sun 25-Dec-16 01:15:49

Hahahaha I will let you all know tomorrow I am absolutely dying to know lol

thegoodnameshadgone Sun 25-Dec-16 01:16:22

It's my
Phone. The layout is wonky I do t know how to fix it

KeptOnRaining Sun 25-Dec-16 01:28:59

Hmmm...

Something you're allergic too.

Something edible he's left out of the fridge.

Reindeer poop - from actual reindeer

A bottle of your favourute wine...laced with a laxative.

Shampoo/conditioner - to which he's added veet

...I could go on 😬

GravyAndShite Sun 25-Dec-16 01:33:31

I'm going to go for...

something surprisingly lovely in an attempt to offer an olive branch.

''Tis the season.

Italiangreyhound Sun 25-Dec-16 01:39:59

Secret Santa present from his work which he doesn't want,
the first thing he saw in the charity shop when he went in,
a souvenir from a place you have away wanted to go to but can't afford,
a gingerbread house to make from scratch (have discovered they are very hard to make - who knew!)...

I too could go on....

But I do hope Gravy is right!

ChairoftheBored Sun 25-Dec-16 05:47:58

My dad bought my mum (they divorced when I was 4) Ferreron Rocher every year.

A lovely thought, were it not for the fact she couldn't eat nuts...

Suzysuz Sun 25-Dec-16 06:01:07

Came on to say Poison perfume but you've already considered it grin My Dad got it for my Mum towards the end of their failing marriage.... (now both happily divorced for years)

Mooey89 Sun 25-Dec-16 06:04:33

One year my delight of an ex gave me a statue of Bhudda from a charity shop... 'saw this and thought of you'

Dick. Merry Christmas!

Miserylovescompany2 Sun 25-Dec-16 06:32:14

An actual olive branch with all kinds of magnificent gems hanging like little beads of hope?

Has he been acting differently of late OP? Maybe he is just starting to realise what he lost or he's acting like a grown up now. Lets face it, you'll be seeing a lot of each other for years to come...

I hope it's the latter?

Hopefully not a secondhand Bhudda??? sad

hesterton Sun 25-Dec-16 06:37:52

Does he have a new gf? Sounds like a woman's intervention. If she's nice, she could have suggested he ought to get you something lovely. Or maybe he is trying to impress her with how he is generous, blameless and oh so kind.

CalleighDoodle Sun 25-Dec-16 06:41:44

Oh my god i know not to piss off keptonraining !!!

RoseGoldHippie Sun 25-Dec-16 09:06:08

When will he be round so we you can find out?

EZA15 Sun 25-Dec-16 09:48:51

What time is he coming round?!

ijustwannadance Sun 25-Dec-16 10:00:15

Anti wrinkle cream or granny pants.
