Those Waitrose adverts with the really amplified sounds of banana and bacon trifle being slopped out and chocolate cake being cut actually make me feel sick and I do not know why.

They certainly don't make me want that banana and bacon trifle, not that I did in the first place.

The only thing I've liked of his is the Salted Caramel Popcorn. It really is nice. But that's not a weird combo.

They tried it on lorraine last week Lorraines faces you could see her looking for a tissue apparently it was interesting. That sound wouldn't be out of place in a fish gutting scene or grisly murder scene. It make me wince and definitely did not leave me wanting to eat trifle!

I have eaten at the fat duck and it was fabulous. I do think his Waitrose food is not up to much - in fact I think it has diminished his brand. I expect the £££'s were too tempting for him.
