AIBU?

AIBU to have nothing to be furious about at Christmas?

Am I? It's Christmas so obviously it's the law to be stressed, annoyed, passive aggressive, slightly resentful or downright furious with your MIL, SIL, DIL, BIL, DH, Aunty Narc, ungrateful lazy DCs or your boss or your Ex, your Ex's partner, your child's teacher because she was overlooked for the role of Mary again, or Ocado or Asda or Argos or everyone on the M25 or just anyone really.

I have racked my brains to find someone / something to be fucked off about at this awfully stressful festive time and I can't come up with a thing.

There's always one cunt at Christmas.

If you don't know who it is, then it's probably you.

Well, obviously that gives you the right to be absolutely fuming, furious AND livid with absolutely everyone because they haven't even had the decency to provide you with the traditional festive nark...

Merry Christmas Wine Wine Wine

I didn't have anyone to be furious about until yesterday. It's ds1 who's the baddie. Found out he's cheating on his long term girlfriend, the git. She stays at our house every weekend and we've got to know her really well Sad

I know what you mean op. I feel like a should be running around like a headless chicken, but am here drinking while eating chocolate.

I will be fuming after the new year when I have to lose all the xmas weight.

Jack nailed it. Dh is not in a good place trying to get food ready. Grin

I burnt the turkey four years in a row. I now don't touch it.

I'm fuming at my ex. You can be angry at him too if you like. He's a cunt and deserves lots of anger.

There's a right twat living round here that's going to get it both barrels when I find out who it is. They've nicked our glass recycling bin off our drive every Christmas for the last 4 years. You can't see it from the road so not only am I fucked if they've trespassed to nick out bin, every fucking year they empty the glass out onto the side of our drive where DS1 spotted it.

I'll have the last laugh though. Lovely neighbour is going to look at their cctv footage to see which twat it is. Not only will they be getting a gobfull off a very irate me, I'll also be ringing our local PCSO who sent us all a letter the other week about bin theft in the area, and to call him with any info. The fuckers will rue the day!

Fill the bin with anthrax!

I'm pissed off with myself...

Christmas goodies arrived last night and I've scoffed 6 mince pies, all the purple quality street, opened the twiglets and some munchies....

I'm barely holding back on drinking the fecking custard from the container...

Ipswich it sounds like you need to empty the bin, its one of those wheely ones, and pop Saucy to spring out at the thieving gets....

Well I'm stinkingly angry.
DH has been so reasonable by taking the children out for a walk so I can relax for a few hours. Terrible.
We're not being descended upon by ungrateful relatives, I have a full tub of chocolates and we've successfully weaned the toddler off Paw Patrol.
I got all but one thing I needed at the supermarket and DH is being so sodding kind he's gone out to get it.
I'm also being given free reign with the food to cook it how I want to and it's not fair! I have nothing to sit and sulk about. Nothing at all!

I had a lovely ten day holiday, came back last week, started xmas shopping on monday finished on tuesday, I'm as chilled as I could be, even the emergency dentist dash this morning with ds1 didn't phase me, his prescription painkillers have kicked in so he's gone to play snooker, ds2 is watching the countdown final over and over again, I'm parked by the fire and reading all the outraged threads wondering if I'll have one myself (don't think I will though)

Grin
