DonaldStott Fri 23-Dec-16 11:11:03

If my dd got this in her stocking, I'm sure she would look at it like 'what the actual fuck' fgrin

Simonneilsbeard Fri 23-Dec-16 11:12:11

StCecilia Fri 23-Dec-16 11:12:53

I think I can beat you. These are made by an adult who wants actual money for them 😐

DonaldStott Fri 23-Dec-16 11:30:46

Omg. You win aint. Although the 'hedgehogs' do cost £3

GeillisTheWitch Fri 23-Dec-16 11:33:01

fgrinfgrinfgrin at the wonky batman and superman magnets. Wtf. Bet you can get official ones for pennies on amazon anyway.

RayofFuckingSunshine Fri 23-Dec-16 11:34:31

£3.00 for a bit of recycling!?

AliceThrewTheFookingGlass Fri 23-Dec-16 11:50:10

Is that a leather whip attached to the jars?

DJBaggySmalls Fri 23-Dec-16 11:53:19

Those are spectacularly awful.

icy121 Fri 23-Dec-16 11:53:32

whenever I see these wannabe "mumtrenpreneurs" types I just think get a job. 5 hours a week NMW would make you more money and be far more productive than "crafting" shit that will ultimately go in the bin!!

HoHoHammered Fri 23-Dec-16 11:55:59

I've lost the photo now but someone was selling a rusty child's swing seat complete with the chains for £20

Down from £80

Looked like someone had stolen it from the local park

HerBluebiro Fri 23-Dec-16 13:47:11

I think the hedgehog is cute. One of the best examples of that turn a book into something random craze (I really really dislike people chopping books up though- I'm nothing if not conflicted)

Not christmas related at all. But few of my presents for folk are.

The superhero badges though are awful.

You can't make much profit from these sort of crafts though. One thing to sell extras of things you have enjoyed making (I'm thinking knitting or paintings etc) but not to rely on it for income.

MrsBobDylan Fri 23-Dec-16 13:54:31

This is making me feel all guilty about thinking these are a bit shit...stop tormenting method way!

MrsBobDylan Fri 23-Dec-16 13:55:22

Me this, not method.

aintnobodygottimefodat Fri 23-Dec-16 13:56:36

My personal favourite. Curious as to where you'd hang a bauble in June though?

aintnobodygottimefodat Fri 23-Dec-16 13:58:04

Yeah I'm feeling like a bitch now.

PaulDacresConscience Fri 23-Dec-16 14:09:47

I always feel a bit conflicted about these FB tat things when I see them. They crop up on my local group as well.

On the one hand, many of them do merit a 'WTF' - especially when comparing the quality against the RRP. Some of them are so bad they are hilarious.

OTOH I then end up feeling like a bit of a cow, because I suspect that in most cases it's just someone trying to make a bit of extra cash.

Irontheshirts Fri 23-Dec-16 14:33:45

These make me cry with laughter every time they crop up on my Facebook feed.

Every secret santa I'm terrified I'll get a glitter class - I like wine and glitter but not together!

RortyCrankle Fri 23-Dec-16 14:57:07

At least you are only tainted by looking at this shit on the screen. Today I received a 'beautiful glass frosted in glitter' and it came with a mini bottle of wine also frosted in glitter and a pack of 4 four ferrero rocher. All came in a cardboard box which had obviously been pre-used as there's a bit of a label stuck on it which they obviously couldn't peel off and packed in straw I assume they stole from the hamster. There was also a business card with FB website extolling 'these and other wonderful gifts to suit any occasion.' Shame I can't touch the glass - it's equivalent to running my nails down a blackboard.

Lucky me.

This beauty has popped up £10 fshock, think it's a no from me.
