Opinions I form about people

  1. People who apply nail polish on top of chipped polish are generally false/pretentious

  1. People who go out of their way to keep their downstairs neat but couldn't care about upstairs, are the "keeping up appearances" types

I know I might be wrong, but I don't care and if you don't care join in with your opinions

What's the question?

Ooh, I top up the chips in the polish, but rarely wear it so want it to last....

I also try not to but do

  1. judge people people who pierce their babies ears,
2)who do not pick up after their dog, and
3)who do not bother to keep their garden tidy! Rant over, thank you!

People who are snidey aren't nice.

Haha, think I fall into both of those categories, the nail polish thing is a really weird way to judge people?
I generally clean downstairs for people coming over more than upstairs as they don't tend to go upstairs, don't think it's a keeping up appearance thing it's more of a don't want anyone to think I'm a clatty so and so type of thing.

People who don't care about whether they might be wrong are arrogant.

People who have snow frosted Christmas trees can't face the reality of climate change.

Are we talking about hair? Surely keeping up appearances would be keeping upstairs neat but not bothering about downstairs?

Oh fuck it's about houses isn't it.

People who remove all of their nail polish and reapply it every time they chip it slightly have far too much time on their hands.

I thought upstairs/downstairs was about bodily hair too!

People who put headbands on their babies

People who bestow yoonique names on their children

Posters who use the (very tired) phrases Daily Fail and "are you on glue"

Drivers with personalised plates

Posters who say, "I've just told my DH and he says.." (because a man's
view is all that's required 🙄 )

People who judge on petty things maybe need to get a hobby? 😂

RentANDBills · 21/12/2016 10:39

People who judge on appearances (personal and household) have opinions that aren't worth caring about.

YABU for starting a goady post, with no AIBU theme purely to judge others.

I've never looked at someone's finger nails so intensely as to be able to tell if it is topped up or not.

Nor do I go rummaging around their upstairs (or garage or garden shed) if I'm a day guest. I go lounge, maybe kitchen, loo. It's just weird otherwise.

What a strange person you are op to even care about this

Impossible not to judge people who would:

have a baby's ears pierced

have a young baby girl in an elasticy-plasticy hairband

have babies in trainers

have no books in their houses

buy designer crappo especially Michael Kors bags

use a knife like a pencil

I've cut down on my judginess this year - it's an ugly quality really. Often, the people who judge the most have no place to be doing so.

Also, I don't have the appropriate wig. Or robe. Or gavel.

I get the feeling both of the OP's examples relate directly to a particular individual in her life!

Why would topping up chipped varnish equate with being 'fake'? Couldn't you argue that all polish/false nails = fake? Explain!

People who call a room in the house a "lounge". Hotels and airports have lounges...

Report
CaraAspen · 21/12/2016 10:49

I think the AIBU question is implied.

Yes I judge people with personalised number plates (fucking morons)
People who have work done i.e lips, botox, arse implants
Men who wear 3/4 length pants
People who wear the pants that make you look like you are carrying round a sack of shit
Men in skinny jeans
Cat people
