We had the supermarket checkout game but now we have the confused husbands game.

Every so often, not so often that he cops it, when I'm getting ready for work I leave one eye without the mascara done. I ask DH do I look ok and he does a double take and says "erm yeah but there's something .... I don't ...." and he stands with his mouth gaping open trying to figure out what's wrong. It's HILARIOUS.

I quickly put the mascara on when he's not looking and although I now look even he keeps glancing at me. Keeps me well entertained.

So AIBU to suggest you all try it out on unsuspecting partners?

That is brilliant! I don't ever wear make up but think I might have to start just so I can do this to DH Grin

What's the supermarket checkout game?

The supermarket checkout game is to put the divider for the next person onto the belt, but at right angles to the way it 'should' go, looking to see if they straighten it or freak out.

I love the mascara reaction from your DH, mine is preternaturally interested in appearance issues and would click this instantly Sad

You never know YES he might not notice! It's very subtle.

Bloody hell - how thick is your mascara that he notices? ShockGrin

You're lucky - DP is a gem but he'd probably give me a cursory 'yeah you're fine Scribble' and leave me sorely disappointed!

See Livia that's the thing. It's not thick enough for him to notice that it is what's wrong. It's subtle enough that it's not immediately evident. Grin
