... well it's been a busy last weekend making sure everything's perfect for the official start of Christmas in 4 days, Grin, but the tree' now up and decorated, last minute presents wrapped, cards written and ready to be posted, chest freezers all full to the brim with festive goodies, Christmas bedding on, food order done, my 6 secret santas sorted! I can now relax with mulled wine in front of the fire and my DH can get his DW back! - Each year it gets more manic but this year's been worse than I can remember despite it feeling like it's taken over my life since the kids went back in September!

I'm guessing you're the type to be fed up and take down the tree by boxing day!

I bought one present last week, otherwise all still to do.
Won't the Christmas bedding be a bit mankey by Christmas?

I've just started a thread about this. It's madness Confused

Surely you're utterly sick of the whole thing by mid December?

The sprouts didn't go on until the middle of October so I am so far behind!
Every year I mean to start them in July- maybe next year. Grin

As DH has now got you back, do you also have your sexy santa outfit on?

Is this a stealth boast about what a fab life you have because you're so "busy, busy, busy" Hmm

Has been? Don't be silly, it's not even December yet. You're so far ahead of yourself you're in danger of meeting yourself coming back.
What's the rush?

Christmas bedding? I am speechless. Did you have special bedding for Thanksgiving too? And Halloween? And Dia de los Muertos?

I bet OP has bedding with each day of the week embroidered on Grin

Is your DH father christmas or something?

This has to be a wind up. Either that or you need to get a life OP!! I hope to have my shopping done by Christmas Eve!! Tree up in Nov??? No. just no. Ours goes up Christmas Eve. We sit with the children decorating the trees with mulled wine and mince pies and carols on. Presents wrapped that night. Lovely!!

Your version of Christmas just doesn't seem very Christmassy. What do you for the month of December if everything is already done?
