So, AIBU to ask for your inspiration, as to what to do with the fucking thing. It comes with a requirement to write two bloody pages about out exciting adventures and photos!

It has luggage! With spare clothes pyjamas! AND a bastard toothbrush! Gah!

Excuse terrible typos. I looked for inspiration in a wine bottle. I failed.

Put teddy for a spin in the washing machine Grin

Large photos and hardly any text. Teddy had a tea party. Teddy went on the swing. Teddy had a good sleep.

That will do. I never did anything else with the class bear. People will judge you if you take it to an art gallery and think you are a pretentious try hard parent, they won't register if you do something boring.

A toothbrush? Do teddy bears have teeth? Hmm

First thing I do is fire it in the wash!

Poor Teddy had a bad cold this weekend. So we gave him Calpol and he spent the entire time sleeping. He feels much better now.

Maybe that's what the other parents did :)

Just do what you were already planning to do with your DC this weekend, take photos of the teddy joining in. It doesn't have to be anything exciting, it can just be playing at home, going shopping etc.

I'm not sure why you're being so negative, lots of children love this activity.

Ihappyhippie, I read that as 'wash it with fire'!

Yes - let him have an adventure in the washing machine first. Hot wash. (I'm a teacher and got rid of the bear once he started bringing little friends around with him.)

Surely you can just take lots of photos of ted doing different things and write captions for all of them.
Things like this should be fun.

Teddy bears picnic? Get your DCs other teddies and gather round for an indoor picnic on a blanket in the living room.
Any museums near you? Lots have bits that kids can interact with. So kind of learning, keeping DC amused and photos for the teddy.
Make a fort over the bed and do indoor camping for bedtime?
Stick it through the wash and call it bath time/teddy bear water park ride?

Teddy hanging with his bitchez (scantily clad Barbie dolls).

Teddy drinking Special Brew on a park bench.

You can really go as dark as you want with this one. Do you have any talcum powder?

I am negative because it's a pain in the arse. Yes DS loves it but he is only 4 so it is me who has to write the story, get the pictures taken and printed somewhere. Think of stuff to do, as this is the first weekend in months where we are doing nothing and I deliberately planned it that way.

First picture: teddy climbing tree

Second picture: teddy with bandaged head and leg on sofa.

Teddy couldnt participate in any further activities due to his injuries.

We've got one too! The nursery girls told me DH's face was a picture when they told him! Ours is going to a sports class, swimming, church (he hasn't been yet!) and out for pizza.

I was replying to the 'wash with fire' but I guess that worked anyway.

You should have him watch the Peppa Pig episode about Teddy Playgroup. :-)

i'm a bit bah humbug about class bears.

I hand them back without writing anything and tell them we don't have the facility to print photos...

My dd brought theirs home the other weekend and we completely forgot to take it out of the bag. Meh.

Just email the photos to the school. If they want pictures they can print them!
