I no longer post anything I wouldn't mind appearing in the press.

It's awful now.

Soupdragon I am not a Mumsnet expert not been using long... and yes lots of people did say that (after I'd already posted of course) but people say lots of things!!! I don't think I'll post anything like this again confusedconfused

My neice found mine when she was 2 and was trying to use it like a spinning top and refused to give it back. I had to distract her with my jewellry so she'd hand it over. So embarrassing.

This thread has reminded me of a Sunday morning in 1979. I woke up early and went into mum and dads bedroom to ask if I could have a digital watch for my birthday. My dad was tit-fucking mum. I can still remember her nightie! Have tried to forget....!!

Omg cannot believe newspapers actually use this stuff!!

Seriously? Have you only been on MN 5 minutes or something?? Lots of people told you it would too.

I wonder if they'll use my "bunch of wankers" comment....

Worse still.... my friends daughter came into the bedroom one morning and sat on her bed to talk to her, letting the dog in behind her. The dog started rooting around under the bed. She had to keep her daughter talking after the dog dragged her vibrator out, flicked around the room a few times and then settled down to gnaw on it for 10 minutes😱

Dp's best friend found mine once! I can't remember the exact details but he was in our room (we lived with dP's dad and he was asked to look for something somewhere near our bed or under our bed. It was in the box and everything. He just pulled it out and I walked out the house. We all laughed it off but it was ages before I could look him in the eye. It was called the 'Totem Pole'!

I once went upstairs to go to bed to find my five year old son fast asleep in my bed cuddling my rabbit shock I disentangled him from said offending item, tucked him back into bed and hoped he would never remember!!

Thinking I might retrain to be a journalist. Easy money - trawl the Internet and editorialise forums!
Pathetic!

In other news - could barely breath for laughing silently on the train!

My friends son found hers when he was 5 and then proceeded to tell his teacher that his mum had a 'bed bat' in case someone broke into the house!!! She was mortified especially as he was going to a church school grin

You seem to be getting off quite lightly. Last poster who posted this got flamed for being disgusting and leaving it out etc etc.

Funny old place this is.

Agreed.

I also agree this is going in the fail because op is probably the journalist so just to balance it out maybe y'all take a moment and think of the AIBU is op was saying dc found terrible dh's porn stash, boohoo!

Bunch of hypocrites!

Luckily DD (teen) hasn't found mine but she did catch us at it a year or so back. She'd gone out so we decided to take advantage of this. Unfortunately iit HAD to be the time she remembered her keys. Let herself in, unheard by us. Hears a noise from upstairs so wanders up, straight into our room asking if I need my painkillers. Luckily hubby heard her as she got to the door and yanked up the quilt. Red faces all round .......
