Ends up with me yet again reprimanding an 8 year old from bullying my 3 year old ds.

Aibu to think girls are getting meaner younger?

Maybe, but there's not much to go on in your post. More context maybe?

Sisters one 8 one three. Oldest refuses to play with another little girl about 5 and is really rude to her telling her she can't play on anything. Little girl tries to play with toys and older girl takes them away saying they don't want her playing with them and being generally mean. The mother of the 5 year old eventually gets irritated at the usual lack of intervene from the father and took her child away and said she was only trying to play.

I watched the 3 year old shove ds off some play equipment and tried to play it down when he was upset because I've been teaching him to come to me rather than retaliate. I then hear the older girl encourage her younger sister to pretend to get off a toy then jump back on to upset him. This happens a couple of times before I calmly go over and say she's being mean and shouldn't be encouraging her little sister to be mean. The 3 year old cries. The older one informs her father. They then start mocking ds and singing at him loudly to which he thinks it's funny as he doesn't understand so the older one starts insulting him and again encouraging her sister to be insulting. Then she tries to encourage ds over to them to play before mocking him again so I tell him we're off to play at a different park where people aren't mean.

The older girl proceeds to repeat this to her father.

Well I'm sorry but I'm not sitting getting attitude and bullying behaviour without saying anything.

If the roles had been reversed ds would have been branded a bully for upsetting a 3 year old girl but two girls are just being 'competitive'.

I would have told the little suits to fuck off.

Is the 8yr old not in school today?

If it's a repeat issue just avoid them surely.

What was their dad doing while all this was going on?

Dad just sort of said oh girls it's for everybody but didn't actually remove them from anything.
I'm not in the UK. So it was after school when it happened. Or they're just raised at the zoo.

YABU to make it a gender issue rather than just some poor parenting. You sound a bit overwrought honestly.

Yanbu , Poor parenting, pfb, emotional issues call it what you will or what you'd like it to hide behind, some kids are just little cunts! And that's swearing, they turn into cunty teenagers, and then you get to deal with cunt face adults in the workplace. Look around, you'll find cunts of all ages and persuasions. Just because some are children does not make it less so.
I agree some kids are just plain nasty and their parents just couldn't give a toss.
Hope Ds had more fun somewhere else.
Sorry to offend anyone with my potty mouth sometimes only a real bad swear will do!

Yes the older one was indeed behaving like a shit. Good luck to the parents if she's that awful now. I figure they'll be hearing about her behaviour a fair bit in the future.
