To wonder wtf ITV employ Piers Morgan on morning tv?

I want to start my morning in a relaxed fashion, not with my blood boiling at that chauvinistic, loud mouthed twerp.

DH puts it on when he's starting work late, it's certainly not my choice of tv, but honestly, it's like we've been shot 40 years back in time! How do ITV think it's an acceptable format? I feel so sorry for Susanna Reid trying to present with that twat.

I quite enjoy it. He's not afraid of asking the questions everyone is thinking.

I prefer him to Kate Garraway/Ben Shepherd.

I wonder more how Lorraine Kelly is still on TV.

I prefer him to the simpering, character-less, towing the party-line smugs that are on BBC1.

I can't stand him. He talks over all the guests to the point where they have literally got half a sentence in by the end of their segment, interrupts constantly, is incredibly rude and smug and is a crap interviewer. Also a huge hypocrite. I have to change channel when he is on.

I prefer him to the simpering, character-less, towing the party-line smugs that are on BBC1. I agree. He is often funny and especially this morning in his chat with Ann Widdecombe. His sexual innuendo comments to Susanna are unacceptable though.

He talks sense sometimes even though he is completely boorish and I hate his American styled backing someone into a corner to get quoteworthy saying for the press and Twitter. Like right now, him interviewing a headteacher who has banned kids from touching snow because it’s dangerous

I know its an old thread but I loved when Lord Alan Sugar was on doing a weight loss challenge with him. Lord Sugar annihilated him week after week.

PM was just shot down as soon as he opened his mouth.

His tell all book about what celebs are really like is quite funny. We (dh and pretty much all my extended family) found it a fun holiday read and didn't expect to.

I like him on Life Stories but omg he is majorly irritating on morning TV. He does stupid actions and just says the first thing that comes into his head, it’s not even funny. He was really quite rude this morning about a man that they filmed scraping snow off his car as they had a feature on the cold weather, he took the piss out of his accent and was really rude I can’t believe anyone would have found it funny.

I know it’s an old friend but does the blonde woman sitting next to him never speak? Sometimes I don’t even realise she’s there until they pan out and I’m like oh! Thought it was just piers and susanna
