As the title says really! Struggling to find a hotel in central London, preferably near Hyde Park but anywhere central, that has a swimming pool but is child friendly. All look geared to couples and I don't want to turn up with twin toddlers at the pool and be met with a hundred evil stares!! Anyone? Thanks!

We've used the Clayton Crown a couple of times. Has a pool & decent size family rooms with proper beds all round. It's not as central as you would like but near tube.

We just had a few nights at the London Hilton Metropole.
Its across the road from the Tube, and walking distance to Hyde Park.
I was a bit worried as the reviews on Tripadvisor were mixed but it was great!
We have 3 DC from 4-12 years, so 5 of us in total. We had a big family room, 2 large double beds plus a double sofa bed. Amazing views, we were 12 floor. Really big bathroom. All clean.
We had booked it for the pool but never actually used it.
Breakfast is great, absolutely every single thing you could ever want.
And we had dinner in the same restaurant one night, was nice. But we ate in the bar another night and it was better. They wanted to watch the footy, we had a booth with a tv, pizzas, nachos etc, was great!
Staff all very friendly.
We got it for £660 3 nights inc breakfast on Expedia.

What is your budget? The Hilton Metropole is supposed to be a good family friendly option - further afield (but still in zone one) you've got several hotels (Ibis etc) down near the Southbank in Waterloo with pools which are family friendly.

I was also going to recommend that Hilton. We always find Hilton hotels very suitable for children despite the naiceness as they are well laid out and particularly good at things like left luggage/finding taxis/prompt service etc.

Caveat: DH gets HH points travelling for work so we don't pay for our hotel stays. I have no idea about value for money.

If you're still looking try Dolphin Square

I was just going to say Dolphin Square! They do apartments with two rooms which would probably suit your needs.

The nicest pool for proper swimming is at the Marriot County Hall. 25 meters but a bit cold for toddlers.
