AIBU?

Wibu to not move all day?

I'm full of a cold feeling very sorry for myself and really can't face moving out of bed.

WIBU to just put DD (2) in front of the tele as DS (5 months) on his play mat and then just curl up under the duvet on the couch?

Need the reassurance as I feel very guilty about doing this

Don't be daft, you have nothing to feel guilty for.

Go for it. You're not the first and certainly won't be the last. No guilt required. Feel better soon 😊

Go for it. This will be us today too. All 3 dc's (15,14&10) have been chucking up all night. DD also has bad cramps. Dh has the man flu and I just feel crappy in general after being up all night cleaning up sick Envy

I would, however I don't think many 2 year olds will last all day in front of tv.
I would set them up with toys now ie set up train set, or get out dolls house and pieces or similar, play 5 mins with them, then move to the sofa. Repeat with new activity every hour of so with tv in between. Something like set up trains and let them play, when they finish, add animals to play on train tracks, then tv, then repeat

Am also full of horrible cold. Grandma took ds overnight last night and yesterday morning when it was just him and me at home we snuggled up on the sofa under a blanket and watched CBeebies. For four hours. I feel no guilt!

You will have to get out of bed at some point.... to go for a pee.....

That apart, have a duvet day.

Sadly DP has been called into work today so I have no one to watch them Sad
DD is quite happy taking herself to the potty and working Netflix on the Xbox and DS had a bad night teething so he's happily asleep now dosed up on bonjela

I have had plenty paracetamol and my amazing DP measured out all of DS milk and water for his bottles before he went to work Grin

I'm not ill, and yesterday I spent fourteen hours reading a book. You are not not superwoman. Lie down, sleep, watch tv. Read a book, if you want. I can recommend a good one!
Feel better
