What's knocked your duck off today? (No Trump or Brexit crying allowed)

It's not even lunchtime but so far...

The car window has been open all night so now soaked.

I dropped an egg and managed to cover not just the floor but an entire stack of clean dry towels I hadn't put away.

Next doors cat has just shat on my wall because the ground is frozen.

I'm going back to bed, I'm skipping today.

Apart from the unmentionable what's spoiled your mood today?

First world problem central here.

I have a cold and feel vile.
DD is being such a whinger.
I knocked a reed diffuser off the window sill in the bedroom and it spilled all over a load of clothes and the carpet.

The poor old boy who fell over in the street and laid on the floor in the rain while people walked past him. I ran over from the other side of the street, but at least 5 people walked past. It makes me sick to my stomach.

Next door are having a skip delivered now.

Fucks sake.

OK it doesn't sound terrible but the neighbour is a guy who does things the hard way.
A skip won't be for rubble or owt he will be building an Ikea on his drive or franking his garden.

Eurgh shitty Wednesday..

Stormwhale that's awful. I really, really hate people sometimes. Humanity sucks. So glad you ran over and helped. You don't suck. Flowers and a Brew for you and Brew for the gentleman who fell over.

Tram derailment in Croydon. Some loss of life and road closed.

Report

Teen DSs are at home because a fatal tram derailment meant they couldn't get to school. I whinged about it before I found out there were fatalities which kind of put my day into perspective!

Which isn't to say other whinges aren't allowed, obviously! It was just that mine was directly related.

My dog pissed on my hall floor because it was sleeting and she's far too delicate to go outside and get wet.

My period is starting so my back's aching.

The milk has gone off but no-one's willing to go out of work and buy more. I haven't had a tea since 6:15am

The snow and the fact I have to go out in the snow to keep DD quiet happy.
That the only radiator in my massive freezing cold kitchen decided to burst the other day & my landlord is in Pakistan so aren't able to get it sorted through him. So now having to fork out money to get it fixed myself, knowing damn well I'm not going to get it paid back to me when he gets home. & I can't wait because it's truly horrendous. It's all tiled ceiling to floor along with stupid tiled floor and walls in the stupid porch that's also freezing because the windows are shit and drafty!!! Beautiful house in summer but until we get these stupid things sorted it's gonna be a horrible house in winter!! Sad

I'm doing nanowrimo and a few thousand behind atm. Very annoying as the internet keeps calling my name.

Still shook by the Woodruff events as been aware of the missing peole photos on FB since October.

Missed an appointment at the hairdressers because I just couldn't find a parking space. I gave myself thirty minutes and drove round and round and failed. Hair dresser was very understanding though.
