I just saw this on a FB selling page. I've no idea what it is, or why anyone would want one, but it is handmade after all!

Share your festive tat!

TheNaze73 Tue 08-Nov-16 18:49:53

That truly is the gift that keeps on giving.

What a pile of shit

MrsHouseBrownie Tue 08-Nov-16 18:53:19

How about these 'Christmas crackers!' ?sorry couldn't resist! grin

ItShouldHaveBeenJess Tue 08-Nov-16 19:01:18

mrs Are those the beakers that you can buy in Poundland in sets of five? I don't know what to say....

You have to admire the gall....

Florin Tue 08-Nov-16 19:01:26

I was about to start this the other day. Can I give you the sweetie wreath which she hasn't even finished priced when pictured. It is a steal at £22 shock or these really lovely custom made batman light up jars-I am sure my 4 year old would do a more professional job!

TheSpottedZebra Tue 08-Nov-16 19:04:06

Ooh, how much for the batman jar hun?

DonaldStott Tue 08-Nov-16 19:06:04

Yay. I love fb tat threads. Especially festive ones grin

Bumbumtaloo Tue 08-Nov-16 19:06:07

I don't actually know what this is! I have loads on various selling sites shock

ItShouldHaveBeenJess Tue 08-Nov-16 19:07:38

grin. I love this thread already! The Batman jar is splendid!

what the fuck were they thinking

ItShouldHaveBeenJess Tue 08-Nov-16 19:10:19

I also like how they strategically placed the Batman lamp on the ached Evans guilty verdict. Nice, Christmassy touch, there...

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual Tue 08-Nov-16 19:10:29

Why the fuck don't people have a cursory tidy before taking pictures?! Why would you picture your gift right in front of the draining rack, or resting near a pile of receipts???

ItShouldHaveBeenJess Tue 08-Nov-16 19:11:16

Ched Evans, even blush

lauryloo Tue 08-Nov-16 19:13:34

I always wonder who buys these

anyname123 Tue 08-Nov-16 19:19:21

I've posted this before, but it's just too good to not share again

StubbleTurnips Tue 08-Nov-16 19:19:37

laury my parents got DD a reindeer like that, and she fucking loves it. It sits in our hallway at Christmas, and she's on the thing all the time.

I hang my head in MN shame for owning it.

TonyGunk Tue 08-Nov-16 19:25:35

Denim. Always Christmassy.

DoYouRememberJustinBobby Tue 08-Nov-16 19:27:31

I bet John is going to love his Bewitched themed stocking.

This Poundland cups are amazing 😂

The thing is these Facebook sellers never bother to investigate the rules, be it licensing (eg Batman) or food regs. I run my own business and am trying to introduce a reed diffuser product but its taking bloody ages to work through the associated rules and regs. Still I'd rather that than injure someone! The pricing is always hilarious too. They see something online and think 'I could knock that off' and charge the same amount or worse in some cases undercut. Except they use poor materials, and poor skills and don't have to factor in premises, insurance, wages, tax, vat, commission, ni, and all the other bits that go into professional retailers pricing algorithms.

Lemonsole Tue 08-Nov-16 19:28:48

Somebody had spammed our running group with ads for their "elf on a shelf" packs on eBay. A bag of tat. Of crap for e on the s ideas. For £8.99. Apparently a vital help for busy mums.

Well, don't do blardy elf on the poxy shelf, then.

Her posts were deleted.

Electrolens Tue 08-Nov-16 19:42:29

Ha! The scrabble decs 'can do any name...even if I don't have the letters'.

Quite like the reindeer mind

BippityBoppityBullshit Tue 08-Nov-16 19:46:27

Oh I got so into my rant I forgot to add mine... £3 for these bargains (probably falling foul of those regulations I mentioned)

fc301 Tue 08-Nov-16 19:47:43

Sheesh! I love this thread!
Not quite relevant but hey ho...

Florin Tue 08-Nov-16 19:52:12

For anyone who would like to buy one of the delightful batman jars at £5 a pop here are some more pics. What was she thinking!

Bumbumtaloo Tue 08-Nov-16 19:56:05

My personal favourite is this one... you can buy the bottles for 59p and the sweets are 10p per bag! But these can be yours for £4.00 shock

DoYouRememberJustinBobby Tue 08-Nov-16 20:16:04

I'm not even sure WHAT this is supposed to be.
