Aib I to think my drink was spiked

Reading the sexual assault thread I think my drink may have been spiked it was over 15 years ago we were on a works night out I remember clearly going outside for air sitting down then nothing I might of blacked out (this had never happened before or since)I remember coming round in ladies 2 of my workmates with me I was bawling wasn't sure why the girls told me we were outside one of the guys from work was stabbed I was holding him and kept calling him my cousins name (cousin took his life a month previously)I just can not remember anything maybe it was a mix of grief and alcohol or maybe my drink was spiked.I have never told anyone what happened don't like thinking about it as I obviously lost control that night just wondering if there is a difference to being drunk or having drink spiked?

You poor thing. What a traumatic event. Unfortunately I don't think you'll ever get a definitive answer. Your drink certainly could have been spiked. But you also could have been extremely drunk. Awful experience either way.

You could have blanked it out op. Traumatic events can trigger that reaction.

I was just thinking about it today and how unusual it was for me to black out I think I was on my own when I went outside I do remember falling backwards and banging my head I don't even remember the guy getting stabbed but I was there holding him fucking hell was there other stuff I don't remember.Anytime I think about it I just feel embarrassed for myself after that I didn't drink too much never went out to get drunk even now I might have 1 if out with himself
