to ask about the sex and relationship education provided at your child's secondary school?

So, I'm the midst of writing a Tedx talk about the dire state of sex and relationship education in secondary schools and would love to hear some input from parents across the UK. I'm doing this talk because If I had received better SRE when I was at school (24 now) I feel like I would have been better equipped to notice the signs of an unhealthy relationship, harrassment and abuse. over a third of schools in the UK have their SRE marked as in need of improvement, and 44% of secondary aged children remark that they have received no education at all about consent, signs of emotional abuse, the effects of pornagraphy and other graphic material and that their SRE was all focused on the biological aspects of sexual development.

So what i'd like to ask is, do your children receive good SRE? Have they mentioned any areas where they feel their school should be offering an education? Do you feel like the school isn't doing enough and how do you approach teaching this sensitive subject from home?

many thanks everyone, all input is greatly appreciated :)
