AIBU to think that calling her dad a twat whilst 9 month DD is in his arms is a bit bad taste?

Unless her first word is twat, I don't think you should unduly worry

Depends if he was acting like a twat to be fair.

Why did she call him it?

Who called him a twat? What does the baby have to do with this scenario?

But IS he a twat?
Baby doesn't understand the word. Meh.

Yabu. In homes across the land, frazzled parents of 9MOs are calling each other far worse.

Who said twat?

Guy DH works with said to DH " your dad's a twat" with DD sat on DHs knee. He isn't (mostly) I just felt it was a bit passive aggressive and unnecessary. Overreacting I realize and I didn't say anything to him

Kid's grandad is a twat? Dh's dad? Or kid's dad?

As others say, unless the kid is some sort of alien lifeform genius, then she won't understand.

If my child's father/grandfather was randomly being called a twat though, I'd perhaps have a little thinky to see it he was.

Why didn't you explain that in your OP? How did you think anyone would make sense of it? Hmm

Your DH's colleague said to your 9 month old daughter "your dad's a twat"?

Unless she copied it I wouldn't be worried..
Unless your dh is indeed a twat then worry about that instead.
