I'm a talk talk customer, and a few days ago I got an email (and a letter, then another email Hmm) telling me my broadband speed was too slow and I could upgrade to fibre optic for a super special price. I've never noticed my broadband speed before then, I steam movies etc with no issues.

Since i got the email my broadband is terrible! Netflix keeps buffering and I player has given up completely Angry. I've turned my wifi off on my phone as it's slower than 3G.

AIBU to think those talk talk bastards have turned my internet down to force me into upgrading?! Or am I being paranoid?

I'm glad it's not just me (sorry Grin). But yes, cunts.

They must have short memories though.. I'm a champion complainer. When I first signed up I had so many complaints and 'goodwill gestures' going that for several months they were paying me for my sky package.

I've had ££ back from BT for pissing me about.

But I'm out of contract and can go anywhere now for a nice introductory offer with any other company.

They are idiots.

YANBU at all. DH is an IT engineer and has customers complaining all the time. Nothing he can do about it though!

Oh, they weren't that bad, surely. I quite liked "It's My Life". The singer was a right miserable looking cunt, though, I'll grant you.
I'll get me coat.

If talk talk was the last service provider in the world, I would chose to go without a phone.

Speaking from experience, don't call. Live chat. Then when you've gone round the houses ten times cut and paste the whole conversation and email it to

[email protected]

Someone from her PA's office will solve the problem like a normal human being.

Good luck OP. It's taken me since July to finish arseing about with them.

Today, I agree. I wish I'd heeded the warnings..

Vodafone are on my shit list too.

And DD. She came home and announced she has to dress up as her 'favourite historical person' tomorrow.. as if 7 year old has a top ten list of dead folk Hmm

Oooh thanks Just.

I've been down the live chat road.. I always screenshot the bit where they agree as evidence.. I'll save that email!
