I Ordered a book on Amazon. I wanted a specific edition. The listing on Amazon said in the title it was a puffin edition and stated the year of publishing . ISBN no on Amazon listing corresponds to book I thought I ordered.
The book arrived today and is a reader's digest edition. Obviously I asked to return and as book is not as described want the seller to pay for return postage.
The seller is refusing and has pointed me to the seller's notes where it states that the book on sale is a different publisher, different ISBN. The seller's notes are not easily available on the mobile site.
AIBU to think that the seller was deliberately out to deceive. Why list a book under one title but state in the small print it's a different book otherwise?
AIBU to think that the headline description should match what I ordered given it states the publisher and the year of publication?
I will be taking this further with Amazon tomorrow, but I'm fuming.

AIBU?
To think this Amazon seller is completely disingenuous in his surprise that the book I received is not what I thought I ordered.
