YANBU take it back

Shock. Shock. YANBU. You must have got the shock of your life.
Take it straight back. I'd say they need to take them out of sale immediately while they investigate.

Oh God! That could have cut you!

Wow. Hopefully a mechanical fault and not a disgruntled employee.

SandyY2K · 08/09/2016 12:20

I'd do more than take it back. I'd be expecting compensation for the distress.

Fucking hell, that's awful! Did you hurt yourself?

Report
Soubriquet · 08/09/2016 12:22

Ooo ouch. Least you spotted it before it did some damage.

Take it back

LunaLoveg00d · 08/09/2016 12:23

Yes take it back. Lush are a company which trade on being responsible and ethical. They will most certainly replace it and apologise profusely.

Report
WorraLiberty · 08/09/2016 12:25

That's dreadful OP

What have they said about it? Are they going to take them off the shelves while they look into it?

Sandy your post did make me laugh Grin

Is that black soap?

Report
Mycatsabastard · 08/09/2016 12:35

Yes, take it back, they will more than likely give you a load of freebies anyway.

We were in lush recently and DD (aged 10) wanted to buy some little robot bath bombs. The girl serving us accidentally knocked a straw out of DDs slush cup so gave her a free bath bomb.

They are generally a lovely company.

I'd contact the HO with the pic rather than return to the shop as then more likely to get action. Company will probably arrange to have the soap sent to them for analysis etc and arrange for you to get complimentary products. A lot of hassle for the local shop who may just give you a replacement and chuck the faulty on.
Good luck

Good grief. Are you perhaps in prison OP? In which case could come in handy.

What soap is that?

I'm a complete lushie and have never seen that soap before.

From the title I was expecting rather a different thread subject Grin

Never mind, I've just realised that it's coalface.

Report
MimsyBorogroves · 08/09/2016 12:49

Yep, contact the company directly.

I also expected the thread to take a different direction Grin

I would take it back to the shop first and let them deal with it at that level. If they are shite at doing so THEN I would go more public with it.

LauraRoslin · 08/09/2016 12:52

Your contract of sale is with the shop, so take it back to the shop.

Lush are the people who support hunt sabs, aren't they? Maybe they got confused about which animals they were planning to hurt that day.

Wow - that is bad.
I hope you didn't hurt yourself with that.
I'd be ranting at them right now!

Eh? Hunt sabs prevent foxes from being ripped apart by disrupting hunts. Not sure why you think they "hurt animals".

Yes contact Lush. They are a lovely company. I went in there and got a phone call while I was there saying my FIL had died. One of the staff over heard and the the manager who gave me everything in my basket for free when I got to the till.

In sure they'll take this seriously
