I be showibg this thread to my sister later. Well basically she was with this guy for 4 years total twat imo. N ever got a weekend away always I tight with money.
But he nice things too she is 34 and his 45 years old. She loves him anyway about a year ago they had a fallen out and he contacted his former ex and yadda. He was keeping his options opened. When she found out she confronted him and told him to pick his choice and he choosed her. She also told him that if she ever finds out if there any more contact between them she dump his sorry ass. And she told him she had a mutual friend that will tell her. And she looks at. Her fb page regularly.
They have no kids together. They don't live together. And no ties. his ex wrote something up on fb about her bf trying to worm his way in yesterday.
So she msg her and got concrete proof that he was Skyping her and fb msger.
For about month. She sended her screenshots of conversations with dates and times.
My sister is devastated she feels there is no way back as she always states to herself if there was any contact between them it be game over. She going to confront him today or tomorrow. She told our mom about the latest drama. Mother is quite fond about him. She told to think careful before she says anything to him as you cant take it back. And she is slightly overreacting she told my sister as there was a reason he wasn't married. . And told her she be lonely and if she dumps his sorry ass she miss him and no one to take her to bingo and be lonely
and no one will have her as she has no job. And no man likes that.
Obviously her resolve is started to wain a bit she starting to think she will confront him but not tell him take a hike. She does have esteem issues as do I. Wwyd. Iam furious with mother for putting doubts in her head.

Ass is a donkey. Do you mean arse? The rest I don't know about, sorry.

Your post is very difficult to read but I gather he was talking to ex but promised to stop. Your sis has found out he is still in contact but as she has no job feels it's him or be lonely forever?
She needs to dump him and learn to be happy on her own terms. She needs to learn to love herself.

Boyfriend suspected of cheating. Was given last final warning by OPs sister - any contact btw you and ex and our relationship is finished.

She found something, contacted the ex and ex sent her screenshots the boyfriend has been trying to flirt for over a month.

Sister resolute to dump him from a great height until their mother has a word.

Tells sister she's unemployed, past her date, she'll be alone rest of her life... Maybe this dick is as good as it gets.

Sister now having a wobble and considering putting up with this shit boyfriend. Sister already has low self esteem issues (no need to guess from whom!?)

So your mother likes your DSis's boyfriend and thinks he's better than no bf at all, but you don't like him and believe he's a player and maybe a cheat.

Why doesn't DSis have a job? Or something to do so she's not lonely? That would also help with her low self esteem rather than relying on this man.

Oi grammar police, the world outside of the U.K. spell it ass.

littledrummergirl Mon 05-Sep-16 08:33:38

Yanbu. She should go with her first instinct and kick him into touch.

Tiggeryoubastard Mon 05-Sep-16 08:33:56

She loves him anyway about a year ago they had a fallen out and he contacted his former ex and yadda
What does this even mean?

Thanks I couldn't put it better words. Yep thats about the story. He was my sister first love so it would be her major heartbreak. She went to a fortune tellar about 2 and have months and she predicted that she leave him within 4 months from now. She was devastated to hear that. However my mother has been saying to think careful because he has a big claim in. He claim is worth nearly a half million Euro that he had a accident in. And she feels that his new girlfriend will get the benefits. While my sister visited him in hospital everyday for months

Ass is slang for donkey in ireland

Foslady Mon 05-Sep-16 08:44:25

Tell your mother to start seeing him if she likes him that much....

RJnomore1 Mon 05-Sep-16 08:45:44

Well given his track record with sharing/spending money on her and the fact they aren't married, she's not likely to see much of that is she?

He's a lying attempted-cheating prick and no amount of money makes up for that.

EarthboundMisfit Mon 05-Sep-16 08:52:05

Get rid of him.

Arfarfanarf Mon 05-Sep-16 08:59:53

your mum is a dick.

1) it's not worth staying with a cheat
2) you don't stay with someone for money
3) someone who is so tight is never going to give you (or your mum!!!!!!!) money anyway

PGPsabitch Mon 05-Sep-16 09:23:58

Better to be alone and have the potential of meeting someone good then be stuck with a turd.

Your mum is being selfish and money grabbing. It's pretty obvious he's stringing your sister along probably until he has his money. Then he'll be off and she'll have wasted time waiting for a payoff that will never happen.

Oh wow... hmm

Maybe you should tell your mum to go and sleep with him if she's that bothered. All she seems to be thinking about is this "massive" payout he's meant to be receiving not your sister or whatever.

If she has any sense at all she would leave him, get a job, get her insecurities sorted out and be the better person..

MyKingdomForBrie Mon 05-Sep-16 09:38:51

Your mum is very definitely wrong, sister needs to get rid sharpish. His money has nothing to do with it - very obviously - unless she is intending to be some kind of chattel that he can buy with his (potential, hopefully non-existent) 'claim' money.

Just accidentally laughed when I realised this could be an ace headline for a Jeremy Kyle story shockgrin

goldensolait Mon 05-Sep-16 10:21:47

We say ass here, as in bottom. And yes she does need to dump him

UnderslungBowlingBall Mon 05-Sep-16 10:23:01

A) are you quite young because even though I knew what you meant you're writing is abysmal. Though I did know what you were on about so I guess it's good.
B) YABVVVVVVVVVU for not having told her yet! He sounds an A* twat!
