Anyone up? Don't think I'll ever sleep again

Omfg I'm up with 15 month old.

He's got a cough and cold and this is the 4th night of no sleep. Literally we haven't slept for more than half an hour day or night.

I've given him calpol, clean nappy, a drink and he's in bed with me with dh sleeping in other room. He just won't sleep, he's just trying to get off the bed jumping on me head butting me and screaming every time I try to lie him down.

I've given up trying to sleep now. I don't think there's anything serious wrong with him, he's happily running around all day and eating and drinking a bit.

Wtf do I do?

Oh no I'm sorry to hear that Maisie ds was a terrible sleeper then it all changed a few months ago and his sleep was fine.

This cold has certainly brought it all back.

Talullah & Herewego Smile when you're awake at this time it's easy to feel like you're the only one.

I've put the TV on now he's hitting me with the remote. He actually seems quite happy now.

Thanks. No that's just him he's always been like that only he used to sleep during the day when he was younger thought it was because he was prem and in the hospital they used to do things at night like bathing and that's when the 1st started tube feeding then bottle feeding. (Expressed breast milk) So thought he would eventually turn the right way round but nope only now he hardly sleeps at all hoping maybe when his teeth come through he might get better. Fingers crossed anyway lol hope ur lo feels better soon!

Snap, Lorelei!

Having poorly DC who just won't sleep is the fucking pits, though. Especially when you're so tired you feel you're on the verge of a nervous breakdown!

Insomnia here. Stressed and can't sleep, of course everything is a million times worse during the night, especially crying babies/children. You all have my sympathies Flowers

Come and grumble on herewegos other thread about what irritates you, a little rant can be useful at times like this!

I'm up with poorly DD. 10 months old with a temperature and very restless. Keep checking how hot she is and if she has a rash because am totally paranoid about meningitis. She is in bed with me and DH. I'm feeding her and every time I try to remove my boob she wakes up. Sad

Brew for everyone! Think we will need it to conquer the tiredness!

Awake with growth spurting 20 week old- he seems to be convinced it's the middle of the day and is laughing and babbling loudly. Trying to keep him it enough not to wake whole house!
So. Tired. Sad

In a&e with my Dad waiting to see a doctor. He took a tumble earlier, lost consciousness for a bit. ECG etc all seem fine so hoping it's nothing serious.

Hello awake people...I've given up trying to sleep for now, I think I'm having contractions (dc2) but had a few false alarms this week so trying not to get excited.
Really feel for everyone with the non-sleeping little ones, can't say I'm looking forward to more of that!
hope there's some good news about your dad Pumpkin.

I'm awake for no reason at all. Last night I was awake from 3 because I was I in a hotel room and my pillow was wrong.

I remember toddler sleepless nights and they were much worse so will stop feeling sorry for myself!

Good morning all.
I am awake because the NorksHounds decided that their very own cat was an intruder and they all went batshit.
Cat strolled away after creating mayhem.

Thanks so much everyone, he's been discharged, Dr thinks possibly temporary low blood pressure led to a black out- anyway we're home to hopefully catch a few hours sleep!
