One of my dog park friends works at a homeless shelter (he's a former addict himself, and connects well with these guys).

Someone there called him a 'fucking Irish wanker' and the police showed up to ask him if he wanted to press charges against the guy for hate speech.

I am well aware of who created the term, in the same way that I am aware of who created other terms as a slur.

But unless feminism has become a hive mind, terf is not every feminist and every feminist is not a terf.
