Not just any grapes tutti frutti grapes! We have normal green or even red grapes but they aren't good enough for dd -12 as Alfie and zoella buy tutti frutti grapes from waitrose. And she wants me to go and get her some now. There isn't a waitrose in my town so would have to drive to the next town. I said no and got a its not fair everyone hates me door slammed stomped upstairs another door slammed and she threw herself on her bed howling. ( period started this morning so think pmt may play a part here) anyway whilst she is having a meltdown I'm enjoying my Sauvignon blanch flavoured grapes and wondering should I check if she is ok?

I bought some Cotton Candy grapes from Waitrose today. They are very lovely but not worth a special trip.

<high five>
I have one of those, bottled grapes do help us get through the darkest of days. wine

Do you mean a pack of some red and some green grapes? Is that what tutti frutti grapes means? Anyway, you are completely unreasonable and it's so not fair.

<gives thanks that my DD is well past being 12 because bloody hell, that was not fun>

Cotton candy grapes are the best

SloanePeterson Tue 30-Aug-16 21:37:30

Couldn't taste any difference in the tutti fruitti grapes we got from m and s. The cotton candy ones have become my crack however, thank god lidl sell them

maz210 Tue 30-Aug-16 21:37:58

Am I the only one who doesn't know what a cotton candy grape is?

fastdaytears Tue 30-Aug-16 21:38:30

Yes you are

PepsiPenguin Tue 30-Aug-16 21:39:23

I have no idea what a cotton candy grape is, am going to have to pop into Waitrose tomorrow...

All I can now think of is that bloody duck joke

"Got any grapes"

Willywolly Tue 30-Aug-16 21:40:40

Well not at this time of night but wouldn't hurt to do it tomorrow.

Willywolly Tue 30-Aug-16 21:41:02

At least she wants fruit instead of junk.

My god I thought it was just me. Candy floss grapes are to die for. I ate a whole punnet today all to myself.

tireddotcom72 Tue 30-Aug-16 21:43:27

I got candy floss grapes from Asda she ate all of them. They only had normal grapes today so got a pack of each for her and my special version of grapes ( needed when dealing with hormonal child) you tube has a lot to answer for!!! My budget doesn't allow for m and s or waitrose grapes!! I'm a single mum - who is not prepared to sacrifice grape juice for tutti frutti grapes. Perhaps she is right and I do hate her. shock

toffeeboffin Tue 30-Aug-16 21:44:28

Bloody outrageous.

specialsubject Tue 30-Aug-16 21:48:38

Worst mum in the world.

Just laugh and ignore. Same as toddler tantrums. And sounds like some internet removal called for.

Enjoy that well deserved wine!!

Jelliebabe1 Tue 30-Aug-16 22:00:57

Lol at the duck grapes vid! Made my evening!

PepsiPenguin Tue 30-Aug-16 22:04:40

Thanks Donthate was too lazy to find the video...

Holy crap it's annoying smile

tireddotcom72 Tue 30-Aug-16 22:07:26

Ooh can I glue her to a tree if she mentions tutti frutti grapes in the morning?

PepsiPenguin Tue 30-Aug-16 22:12:57

I can see where this is going tomorrow morning:

DD: Got any glue...

OP: no

DD: got any grapes

AtSea1979 Tue 30-Aug-16 22:15:24

Candy floss grapes? No way

tireddotcom72 Tue 30-Aug-16 22:15:54

Ah I don't just have glue - I have a glue gun!! And I'm not afraid to use it!
