I have n/c for this.

AIBU to think that an adult man saying "I'm your daddy/who's your daddy/tell my I'm your daddy" during sex is just downright weird?

Blush Sad Hmm

Seriously weird.

It's weird to me and a bit sick but I suppose some people have different fetishes than I have.

Yanbu at all. It's gross. I would have serious concerns about someone who wanted to role play being my 'daddy' blergh.

Really creepy

As part of a consenting role play between two adults - fine.

Random outburst during sex - weird.

Yes, weird and certainly not for me.

MAJOR turn-off.

Does this happen in real life? Surely no one does that?

I can't imagine it actually happening outside a skin flick.

YADNBU. Just the thought of it makes my fanjo snap shut and dehumidify.

That would be cause for dumping in my view.

An ex started calling me how "little girl". We split very shortly afterwards.

Dyan I can confirm it happens.

Creepy. Wouldn't happen again. He'd be gone.

This is why I don't understand couples who don't have sex before marriage. There are so many important sex things you need to find out about a person!

Someone on another thread said that clint Eastwood likes this?

Were you with clint Eastwood, op?

I'd be weirded out.

It's commonly used in the US though, especially in popular culture.

Found this on it. First used in the 50s in a film it seems.

I thought this was going to be about a Jeremy Kyle episode...

But in answer to the actual question, it's weird.

I'm guessing this is based upon a recent experience OP given the NC?

It's not my cup of tea but I think in most cases it's not alluding to incest, but the 'I'm in charge' sort of thing a la Ray Winstone in Scum 'I'M the Daddy now!'

timelytess · 29/08/2016 15:05

It just made me laugh. One person I don't want to think about during sex is my dad. Can you imagine? "TimelyTess! What do you think you are doing with that man! You're a disgrace to the family! Go to your room!"
I'm 58.

Yeah, I think it's an American thing- which means- like baby showers- it will be coming here soon. Grin

I would shutdown immediately from this. I can't imagine even being able to carry on!

On an anecdotal basis (i.e. rubbish films and also quite a lot of stories from friends) this seems to be an American thing. Or at least quite a common occurrence with both American men and women.

Have always found it unfathomably creepy to be honest.

Helmet no, sadly. Although he is very old, so maybe not so good.

There will not be a repeat performance. Do I tell him it's weird?
