Just what it says on the tin really. Or the title lol!!

Am I missing anything?

People on here will prob say it's nothin special, but I love a nandos!

Half chicken (medium spice), with spicy rice and piri piri chips. Yum!

Floggingmolly Sat 27-Aug-16 16:20:51

It's just chicken...

Andrewofgg Sat 27-Aug-16 16:21:50

Some like it hot!

VladmirsPoutine Sat 27-Aug-16 16:21:58

Are you unreasonable to have never eaten at a Nando's? Really?

sevensome Sat 27-Aug-16 16:22:16

It is just chicken lol but thanks lottie - for your suggestions of good things off the menu - I was wondering how broad their menu range was...

WordGetsAround Sat 27-Aug-16 16:23:02

I'd keep it that way if I were you.

angeldiver Sat 27-Aug-16 16:23:05

No, you're not missing anything.
One visit was enough to know it's shite.

sevensome Sat 27-Aug-16 16:23:42

Suppose I meant it flippantly Vladmirs - lol - it's just as a chain it gets so much publicity - remember the fuss a few years ago - cheeky Nandos/Bantersaurus Rex etc etc ?!

Dragonglass Sat 27-Aug-16 16:25:25

I have been once. It was just a rather unexciting chicken and chips, nothing special. So no you're not missing anything.

RaspberryOverload Sat 27-Aug-16 16:26:11

Well, I've never been to a Nandos, simply because the nearest is in the city about 20-25 miles away.

kali110 Sat 27-Aug-16 16:26:29

I love nandos.
Medium spice chicken in pita with halloumi, chips with peri peri salt, rice and macho peas.
Plus loads of their sauce

Eatthecake Sat 27-Aug-16 16:26:37

Your not missing much OP

It's just chicken, I have been once and never been back it really was nothing to rave about

amy85 Sat 27-Aug-16 16:27:30

I went for the first time today...it was really nice but I don't understand all the hype about it

PurpleDaisies Sat 27-Aug-16 16:28:52

I love Nandos too. The sides in particular are great-halloumi, peri peri chips and macho peas are my favourites. Those and a wing platter to share with dh and I'm a happy camper.

Floggingmolly Sat 27-Aug-16 16:29:26

I never understood the "cheeky" Nandos thing confused.
If eating chicken and chips makes you feel you're living on the edge; you really need to go a damn site further than Nandos of an evening...

stouensbay Sat 27-Aug-16 16:32:16

I think it's a bit like a posh(ish) KFC. It's ok but the whole self ordering with waitress service is a bit confusing. Is it a restaurant or a fast food outlet?

Sidge Sat 27-Aug-16 16:32:19

I've been once.

I was distinctly underwhelmed.

Sparklesilverglitter Sat 27-Aug-16 16:32:28

It's just chicken and chips, nothing really thrilling.

I went with work when one opened across from us and the younger members of the team raved about it but I wouldn't go again.

If you want to try it get yourself a good quality chicken and a nandos sauce from the supermarket, will probably be nicer

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser Sat 27-Aug-16 16:33:18

I love nandos! I am actually vegetarian, but all their veggie food is yummy. And it's pretty cheap and they serve wine, which is enough for me.

Sparklesilverglitter Sat 27-Aug-16 16:33:36

flogging 😂

Oysterbabe Sat 27-Aug-16 16:35:19

It's fine. That's about all I can say about it.

Madbengalmum Sat 27-Aug-16 16:35:45

Flogging, couldnt have put it better myself. Definately, NOT, livin the dream!

Smartleatherbag Sat 27-Aug-16 16:36:48

I've never been to one on account of living in the middle of nowhere. Our local town (40 miles away) is getting one soon so I'm sure we'll pop in to try it out.

Libitina Sat 27-Aug-16 16:37:12

I've been once. I was distinctly underwhelmed.

Same here. Expensive KFC imo
