Went to the train station today to pick up tickets.
Pulled up to park in the motorcycle area (I ride a motorbike) and there is a big white van parked in it blocking the whole parking space.
The disabled parking spaces in this car park are next to the bike parking space and there was someone in a car in the disabled space. I parked as close as possible to the bike space while still allowing the van driver space to get into the van but this meant I had to park slightly on the white lines that are next to the disabled space to allow extra space to get in/out of a vehicle. There was still plenty of room to get in and out but Wibu to park like this given that someone else was parked in the space I would have parked in?
I was no more than 10/15 minutes and the person in the car didn't say anything and didn't appear to be in a hurry but was this ok? There were no other spaces available at the time
AIBU?
Was I U to park partially in this disabled space?
