To want to play the lottery

We're going through a really hard time financially and I just want a bit of hope that one day we can afford the 5 bed house with a massive garden.

I've never ever played the lottery, but I saw an advert earlier today that said it was only £2 a go with the chance of winning 1 million or £20 grand, I know the chances are slim but someone out there has to win it.

I'll probably just pick random numbers each go, we can afford to lose £2 a week but I would still feel terribly guilty

Is the lottery just a pipe dream or is the slim 0.000001% and the small dose of hope worth it.

Complete waste of money. Odds are something like 45 million to one. Save your money and find some free competitions to enter but never see that as a way out of a financial hole.
