To ask for a duvet

Staying at a friends house and we've been out for drinks, cocktails and dinner. Got back and she's passed out and her DH had made up my bed before we got home. We've all now retired to bed and I've just got pjs on and discovered there is no duvet, just a duvet cover. Dilemma - should I disturb and ask for one (am a bit chilly) or brazen out a cold night?

Ask for a duvet!

Yes ask for a duvet or some blankets!

I would be mortified if I found out a guest was cold all night.

Maybe they don't have a duvet.
can you look for one?
Or maybe a throw .
If all else fails, you have to ask if you are really cold.

Is there a blanket box in the room?

Or a likely looking cupboard?

Ask.

I'd go hunting for a duvet PDQ

They're crap hosts. Good job it's not midwinter. Do you have a coat.

You have to ask. You won't get any sleep.

My DH has the same hosting skills.
You could ask but he probably won't know where the duvets are.
Personally I would be too embarrassed (for them) to ask. Not a great solution sorry!!!

Did you get any sleep?

What happened? Did you get one?
