We met online and he made me laugh like a drain even over text. Then we met in person and he had the most charming, cheeky way of delivering his humour. He's Glaswegian and I'm from Edinburgh and his accent just makes everything funnier Grin

We've been together four years now and we still laugh all the time.

Met online too, he was funny and when we met in real life, he was a real gentleman - lovely manners.

15 years Smile Doesn't stop him driving me nuts in many ways but he is a kind, dependable man.

His sense of humour and his confidence, and cheekiness but he wasn't cocky with it. He was (is) just really really funny. It was the looks that hit me first when we were introduced at a pub, but once we started talking I realised his personality matched. Smile I do remember that first night I called him an irritating git. He still is years later but I do love him Grin

We met online too.

He's funny and nice and genuinely listens to me.

Met on holiday. He was kind, funny and carried my skis for me.

Penis size. Remains a major attraction.

His cheeky comments, his awful jokes and he made me laugh until I cried. He still does. It was nothing to do with his Irish accent oh no, nothing to do with that.

In a room full of loud, bulshy people he was quiet and not self absorbed.

His gentle way and kindness

He is so patient I think its unhuman like (compared to me)

When we met I was doing a professional training course and he spent night we were dating tickinb boxes, making graphs on excel - it was definitely what pulled at my heart strings.

Yes - he does drive me mad sometimes

Met at school and got together at 18. He's kind, a good person and very comfortable in his own skin.

He made me and still does make me howl. He's also so calm and patient with me, keeps my fiery personality grounded.

Nothing. He was an arrogant git. But I shagged him anyway and the rest is history.

It was his looks that first attracted me tbh, he was everything I like in a man. It was a real thunder bolt moment and we've been together 26 years.

He was (is) funny and cheeky and I like that but it was the way he spoke about his family that really made me fall for him. I'm very close to my family and have massive respect for them so it really struck a chord when I heard him speak about his with the same affection and respect. He has 2 DC from his first marriage and his obvious commitment to and love for them completely sealed the deal once I got to know him better.

For me it was a case of opposites attract. I'm very cautious and stoical, plan just about everything etc. He was spontaneous and irresponsible. A naughty boy!
I moaned about all that later on when the novelty wore off.
He did get much more sensible after we had children. If anything he's a bit too sensible now for my liking. There's just no pleasing me, haha!
But I still luffs him just as much as ever.

Very funny.
Very kind - we were on a course and had to do a library tour and he made everyone wait so one of the attendees who was elderly could keep up, and walked with him.
Cheeky.

He was very confident and it oozed out of him... he had just come back from travelling Australia and Thailand for over a year and 18 year old me thought that was pretty amazing.
8 years later I think he's pretty amazing. Now I know him he's so much more than confident he's my Rock. Very patient very kind and so in love with our dd and me Blush

He was (is) a complete gentleman, easy going, witty & fun. Really kind to everybody & close to his family. He is still friends with the boys he was friends with as a child. He always does the right thing & his best by me. It felt so nice to be cherished after a crappy previous relationship. He's amazing 😍

When we first met it was how 'normal' he seemed compared to my previous boyfriends. He was sexy, kind, funny but most of all he was straightforward.

That was over half our lives ago. Now he's still sexy kind and funny, he's also a great dad and a brilliant man and a very good provider (though I must say I don't think I'm bad myself Wink). What I'm amazed by is how he has grown and changed and "expanded" himself (mentally, not size wise!) over the years.

He also snores like a bastard, can be a mean git when stressed and you don't want to see him hangry. Grin

His intelligence and generosity. We've always had a lot to talk about, I know I'll never be bored with him.

Well, it will sound silly now but our first conversation was about Jainism and I just found it really interesting. It moved onto him talking about being a botanist and naturalist and his passion just shone through and hooked me in.

He is also really bloody genuinely lovely- he is kind, passionate, sensitive, loving, polite, funny, clever and he made me feel (and still does) really special and beautiful.

The second I spoke to him I knew I needed him in my life in some way. By the third date I knew I needed to marry him. Ten years later and I would do it all over again.

He is good. The most gentle and kind person I know.

Really intelligent

Good sense of humour, has read a lot of the same books as I have (so understands when I quote Bertie Wooster for instance)

Utterly honest, great integrity.

The older we get the more I realise he has many traits in common with my dad despite being a very different type of person. My dad was one of the best people I ever met.
