To ask what your essential every day make-up products are

I've never done anything with my eyebrows (except pluck/wax) until Monday this week when I decided to try a tinted eyebrow gel. I 've been using it every day since and can't believe the difference it makes (my eyebrows are very light). I feel I've been missing out for years! My daily make up routine is very basic and consists of moisturiser, light foundation, mascara and a bit of blusher. So, I want to know, what other products have I been 'missing out on'? Grin

I get you!
I have blonde brows so have to dye them and pencil them in.
They are my .... 'I won't leave the house without them' make up.
I'll wear nothing else if I don't time but brows frame my face so well, so I cant go without them. I just wish I knew about them as a teenager.

I would suggest getting them coloured and your lashes too. It makes all the difference to how you feel.

I would also suggest a good lipstick, the last year I have begun wearing lip finity by Max factor and it stays on ALL DAY!! the lift it gives my fave is unreal.
Totally recommend a lipstick!

Primer! I've avoided it for years thinking it was a total gimmick but someone on here recommended maybelline baby skin and I happened to see it in savers for £5 so I gave it a go. It's a total revelation. My skin genuinely looked airbrushed before I got near it with foundation.

I really like (I know its old fashioned) Max Factor powder. It has a tiny bit of coverage in it - so its handy after work or to put a bit on on a night out.

Catrice lip tint- sheer

Really interested in what brand of eyebrow gel you used op

Never heard of tinted eyebrow gel. Am going to get some right now (eBay constantly open, oops!) My eyebrows are virtually invisible. A friend had hers tattooed but said it was very painful, not sure I could do that.

My make up has thinned out over the years. If I want to make a huge effort, my essentials are mascara and mineral powder. Normally, I don't use any, mascara maybe if the lights are red long enough!

I use the Clarins range - after moisturising I put on some of the instant smooth perfecting primer stuff, then either Guerlain teint du parfum foundation or, more than likely, the Clarins tinted moisturiser which I'm loving right now.

Then shade and shape my brows, MAC eyeshadow, thin liquid liner and YSL Shocking mascara or Lancome defincils for the lower lashes.

Dior Addict Lip Maximiser for the lips. Rarely bother with liner during the day but if I do, I use the MAC Soar pencil.

That's it. Takes about 5 minutes without interruption from my kids. Agree with the eyebrow thing though, I was amazed at the change in my face when I started shading my brows. They've gotten seriously thin in the past year so I stopped getting them threaded and now just pluck errant hairs.

Thanks Fox. I will look in to the colouring with the salon that I go to for waxing. I could do with a good lipstick. I sometimes wear a gloss but it comes off so fast. I'm terrible with knowing what colour suits me so I'll go in to one of the brands at boots and see what they recommend

Pixi Eye Bright Liner in nude. Covers up any redness around the water line, and makes me look so much more awake and fresh-faced... Don't sleep much!

I second or is it third (?) the coloured eyebrow gel. I use a Rimmel one, it makes a marked difference to how I look.

My favourite lip product is Bourjois Paris Colour Boost Lip Crayon in Proudly Naked. I don't like wearing "heavy" lipsticks, so I can swizz this on very quickly, but it's enough to define my lips nicely.

Also, I couldn't be without Burt's Bees beeswax lip balm! I get awful cracked lips if I don't use it regularly, and other lip balms don't seem to touch it.

Everyday at work make up is:
Concealer -Loreal
Touche Eclat under the eyes, above brows etc
Powder -Loreal
Cream blush-Rimmel
Lip balm -Carmex
Eyebrow gel in brown - Loreal
Black eyeliner -Rimmel
Black mascara -Benefit Roller Lash

I use Liz Earle products mainly for skincare, and love Elemis bliss capsules.

Eyebrows. I have thick brows but I still pencil them in to give shape. They really make a difference.

I don't where make up quite a bit but I feel best when I manage to shovel a bit on:

NARS velvet matte skin teint (sp!?!)
NARS multiple (got a few colours) on cheeks and lips
Eyebrow pencil

Can't wear mascara my eyes are too watery and waterproof fucks my eyelashes up. The big chubby NARS multiple sticks are amazing. You can smear them on without even looking at your face and they look lovely. I bought my first one over 5 years ago, use it loads and there's still about half left. Best make up ever.
