to suspect skulduggery (Facebook competition related)

DP and I have managed to sort out our garden over the past week, however it could do with some nice finishing touches.

Anyway, last week a company advertised on Facebook that someone would win £1000 towards their garden. All you had to do was like, share and comment with a pic of your garden. Cue loads of pictures in the comments - this company 'liked' all of pictures/comments.

They said the winner would be announced 1st August.

I was interested to see pictures of other people's gardens so I kept track of the post up until a couple of days ago

I just remembered today was the winning announcement so have searched Facebook for the page. It's gone! Google says the Facebook link has expired or whatever.

Truly no big deal, but for some reason I thought I would win. A bit like the time I was convinced I would win the lottery on the first ever draw.

There was no competition was there?

Facebook has rules on competitions and will remove it if you ask people to share.
It might have been removed by then because someone saddo reported it

I was going to but there is no access to it.
It was a local company though. Buggers probably just touting for more exposure on Facebook perhaps.
