Have been stewing about this for last 24hrs - would appreciate some other viewpoints.
DH and I took our 3 DC to a local pub with a beer garden, we had dinner then went out for the DC to play on the bouncy castle and play equipment. All fine so far. My eldest DD (8) has ADHD and ASD and has difficulties communicating with other children, finds it difficult to say the right thing and make friends so I always watch her closely in these kind of situations. She went on the bouncy castle and saw a couple of girls who looked maybe 1-2yrs older than her, she recognised one from her old school. She went over to say hello and started bouncing up and down, within seconds the older girl had forcibly shoved her as hard as possibly straight in to the wall of the bouncy castle and burst out laughing - I heard her say "oh sorry, I just had to do that it was too funny'
DD just got up and carried on bouncing away from them, didn't seem upset. I, however, was fuming. I didn't say anything at the time but now wish I had. What would you have done? The urge to go over and shove older girl into the wall of the bouncy castle myself was quite hard to repress!
