To feel I should have stuck up for my child

Have been stewing about this for last 24hrs - would appreciate some other viewpoints.
DH and I took our 3 DC to a local pub with a beer garden, we had dinner then went out for the DC to play on the bouncy castle and play equipment. All fine so far. My eldest DD (8) has ADHD and ASD and has difficulties communicating with other children, finds it difficult to say the right thing and make friends so I always watch her closely in these kind of situations. She went on the bouncy castle and saw a couple of girls who looked maybe 1-2yrs older than her, she recognised one from her old school. She went over to say hello and started bouncing up and down, within seconds the older girl had forcibly shoved her as hard as possibly straight in to the wall of the bouncy castle and burst out laughing - I heard her say "oh sorry, I just had to do that it was too funny'
DD just got up and carried on bouncing away from them, didn't seem upset. I, however, was fuming. I didn't say anything at the time but now wish I had. What would you have done? The urge to go over and shove older girl into the wall of the bouncy castle myself was quite hard to repress!

Nah, your DD had the perfect revenge: Carrying on with life unbothered.

Bullies hate that.
She handled it. She's cool. Be proud.

You did the right thing although it must be stinging. How bloody horrible but I totally agree with KingJoffrey, your daughter handled it perfectly.

Your daughter sounds awesome, but I'd still want mummy revenge! She probably handled it for the best though. X

Well done to your daughter. I think in the first instance you did the right thing. If this older girl is a bit of a bully, you don't want her using that to against your DS. If it had happened a second time, maybe your intervention would be needed.

If your DD had been upset then obviously you should have intervened, but it seems like she handled it well. I dont mean to sound hard, but you won't ALWAYS be there, so let her find her own way when she can. It's hard to see your child picked on, but it's far better for them to deal it with themselves rather than having mum doing it for them.

This was the right outcome, interfering would have been a huge mistake. Your DD is fine, stop stewing over it and move on.
