When did you last clean your fridge?

I mean a take everything out and wash all the shelves etc type of clean? I've just done mine and am ashamed to say that I actually can't remember the last time I did it previously, it was certainly months ago. Most of what we eat is in there and I feel rather disgusted with myself. Am I alone in being a fridge minger?

I do mine once a week after a food shop. I pull everything out, sort out what needs throwing away, clean the fridge then out everything back in. Took me a while to figure the system out though!

I do mine in parts, so the door shelves get done regularly, usually weekly, but the rest of the fridge is when needed. I'll take a shelf out and do it separately.

My youngest is 18, so we haven't got the spills that we used to have.

I did mine on Friday. I bought the fridge in December. This was the first time i did it. Same with the ovens too! [disclaimer: did clean bits of them at times over the last 7 months but never a full on take the thing to bits and nuke it type clean.] It took bloody hours!!!

I do my salad/veg drawers, the night before my bins are emptied, so weekly, again.

We've been living here for a year and that was the second time I've cleaned out the fridge. The vegie drawers get thrown in the dishwasher every so often.

Freezer about every three months, or when the ice starts to take over and make the drawers hard to open.

If I'm being honest, about once every 3 months. I know it should be more but with a baby and a toddler it just doesn't come that high on the priority list!!
Obviously if something leaks then I'll do it then. I did these jobs a lot more than I do now before I had kids

Erm... It was clean when I bought it four years ago :/
It doesn't have much in it usually though so I give it a bit of a wipe around the food every so often. I've never properly cleaned it though. I am scuzzy...

I tend to do it every time I do a large 3weekly/monthly shop. But my freezer on the other hand is pretty bad.

Mine is wiped down weekly and a complete deep clean once a month. I have a full time cleaner though.

Roughly every 3 months, although I wipe up any spills as soon as I notice them. I last did it about 3 weeks ago.

I don't take the shelves out, but I give it all a good clean every week when I'm doing the kitchen, except the veggie drawer which is full on a Sat, which DH cleans on a Thursday before the Sainsbury's delivery arrives. :-)

I do lift the shelves and clean top and bottom, just don't take them out.

Cripes. When I notice it needs it. And I have people coming over who will be helping themselves to stuff/wine in the fridge as I'm a very lazy host bThat was yesterday. I usually notice the salad drawers need a good clean when the weekly shop arrives and I'm just about to put it in.

I did my fridge freezer yesterday. It's sparkling. I do the fridge regularly so it wasn't too bad but the freezer drawers were a bit grotty with random escapee bits of veg in the bottom etc

I've had my fridge-freezer 3 years, but I haven't defrosted the freezer yet, as all the drawers still close.

I wipe down as and when, usually 2 or 3x a week then dh gives it a proper clean when it really needs it.
