AIBU?

To be frustrated?

Someone I met a while ago got in contact after a few months saying he was free to meet up/go on a date and when was I available. I went away for two weeks after this though but when I returned let him know a date when I was free (he wasn't free, it was v short notice).

I then left it as he didn't suggest an alternative date (which I took as a sign of indifference?) but still carried on the conversation... Confused

Anyway rather than carrying on the conversation I then quite bluntly replied, simply asking if he was planning to be in my area again after starting work (he is starting a long hours job soon, it is not in the same area). He hasn't replied yet... I guess I have my answer haha

Aibu to be frustrated about this? Why nessage someone after a long time asking to see them if you're not going to follow up on it? It's bizarre. Also was I too blunt?!

No, you weren't too blunt but his circumstances may have changed.

At least you know where you stand.

Very true, thanks.

I do feel like he liked me but I can't be bothered with someone who won't/can't make an effort esp at this stage!!

nail your colours to the mast and set a date or just accept he's not that much into you, i would not be too confident on this one going anywhere tbh. have you posted this up before ? it looks very familiar.

I think it was a one-off booty call- or whatever it is the yoof call it these days.

The moment, such as it were, has passed.

Put him out of your mind :-)
