Apparently I am in a minority of one IRL.

It's just..... urgh. None of that behaviour is funny!

Here's the letters.

BodsAuntieFlo Thu 28-Jul-16 17:13:12

Do you have teenagers OP?

squoosh Thu 28-Jul-16 17:15:05

The parent obviously wrote these in the hope of 'going viral' on Twitter and Facebook. It seems everyone wants their 15 mins of Facebook fame.

I thought that too, squoosh.

Lighten up

BodsAuntieFlo Thu 28-Jul-16 17:18:03

That's the type of tongue in cheek notes I'd have left my teenagers when I was going on holiday without the drugs part or annoying neighbours as we have none.

KoalaDownUnder Thu 28-Jul-16 17:18:35

It's just not actually clever or funny, though? confused

BodsAuntieFlo Thu 28-Jul-16 17:21:46

koala it was a note a mum left for her teenage children. I can see the humour in it. It was her son who put it on Twitter.

SantanaLopez Thu 28-Jul-16 17:22:56

They just sound like our old neighbours from hell. That's not the usual teenage antics, it's shitty behaviour.

KoalaDownUnder Thu 28-Jul-16 17:25:02

I know what it was - I just think its trying too hard, and failing. Sorry.

Poor parent. I like the handwriting - but that isn't even slightly witty.

Lasagna Thu 28-Jul-16 17:25:37

No it's not funny. Just showing the world now what shitty people the whole family are.

I have never had to leave any note like that for any of mine or my partners children as I brought them up to be respectful kind people.

whateveryousay Thu 28-Jul-16 17:28:00

I have teenagers, I leave them when we go on holiday, and think it's a great idea, very funny. Makes the point in a humorous way, which is better than just a dry list of rules which would never get read.

2nds Thu 28-Jul-16 17:28:03

This lot sound like the neighbours from hell!

I. Found it a bit boring if I'm honest. I didn't / couldn't read it all.

2largeglasses Thu 28-Jul-16 17:28:55

Somewhere in their house, there will be a "welcome to the madhouse" sign.

Urgh there's nothing worse than something designed to go viral.

NotYoda Thu 28-Jul-16 17:29:03

I've got teens and i don't think it's funny

I probably could have done better - not more dramatic, just better

M0nstersinthecl0set Thu 28-Jul-16 17:30:39

Cringe. So fake, the teenager wrote that I take it?

LumpySpacedPrincess Thu 28-Jul-16 17:31:22

Love the fact their daughter has to be responsible and look after her brother and the dog. The son just has to remember not to spend all their money on prostitutes, just lovely.

LumpySpacedPrincess Thu 28-Jul-16 17:32:01

2large spot on!

JohnLithgowsLargeForehead Thu 28-Jul-16 17:33:22

It's alright, not really that funny but her teenagers sound like shits grin

ZippyNeedsFeeding Thu 28-Jul-16 17:36:18

I can't imagine calling my kids arseholes, and they seem to make a career out of finding new ways to mess up.

MissClarke86 Thu 28-Jul-16 17:39:20

I couldn't get past the bad grammar. Didn't find it funny either.
