Did you find something that just changed life for you?

Citalopram! And also my DS but I suspect I would have split from DH if not for the meds so I wouldn't have had DS without them.

Yoga - the benefits aren't just physical, though those are also significant.

ZippyNeedsFeeding Fri 22-Jul-16 22:56:31

Letting go of my guilt/shame (it took a priest looking at me and saying "really? that's it?" though!). Marrying my husband. Looking at my newborn baby and realising that, for him, I would do anything, risk anything, give anything and never be afraid to fight for him.
All of these.

MinnowAndTheBear Fri 22-Jul-16 22:56:34

Becoming a Christian when I was a teenager. My lifestyle at the time didn't really change that much, but I started to take steps towards a very different future. All of my life choices as an adult have been shaped by my faith.

A few years therapy

Genuinely starting to like myself. I faked it in the beginning but made myself say one nice thing about me everyday in the mirror. Now I genuinely believe it. It upped my self worth immeasurably
