To leave dp to put Ds to bed by himself LIGHTHEARTED RANT

Just that really... Had Ds on my own since Thursday evening, not complaining I love being with him as I'm not at college or anything... But today, I've taken Ds from dgm's house 12-15 miles away on a 40 min bus this morning to the swimming pool for an hour and half then walked back to the bus and came to dps... had a headache/migraine since maybe 4pm... Dp went to work on tills in a shop for 4 hours today and had a shower. Told Ds it was bedtime after Pj masks and dp came in the room and said it was bedtime and to go up... Thought on great he's putting him to bed.... after maybe 10/15 minutes thought it was awfully quiet and Ds must have gone to sleep straight away (he was flaking at 4 on the way to dps but didn't nap so not unreasonable to think?) and when I go upstairs I find out that dp has been playing bloody Mario on the Nintendo with him since whenever they went up!!! 😡😡😡😡 I asked do to turn it off so We can go to sleep and cue screaming from Ds. Wants water, doesn't want water coz he wants to do it himself then he wants fridge water. Took him fridge water and it wasn't good enough 😫 I've fucked off back downstairs because I'm quite pissed at dp for letting Ds stay up when I told him it was an early night because hes been busy all day and he's clearly knackered and was dropping to sleep at 5pm so he can deal with the demon child Ds turns into when he's overtired (ofc I don't mean that literally I just think it's quite an accurate description of overtired toddlers ) I know I'm BU to rant about it online to a bunch of strangers but if Im knackered and pms'ey and don't rant I'm going to be cross with dp when I do decide to go back up 😫

And now they've come downstairs to get a goddamn drink because Ds said so 😡 He's 3 ffs

Yep I would be annoyed too. Maybe he should have a couple of nights a week that he has to put him to bed.
