U2HasTheEdge Don't you wonder, though, why it took them 13 years to release this "information", despite the trials and controversies surrounding him? It reeks of planted evidence or pot-stirring, to me. Not to mention, the child at the centre of the molestation accusations admitted that he made it up because his parents wanted money, and after Michael Jackson died, the father committed suicide. It just doesn't add up.

Having read the actual police evidence lists and descriptions of each and every item found on his premises,not one item of illegal pornographic material was found. I don't know the truth of what happened but he was found innocent- the material evidence simply didn't exist. The child imagery found was not pornographic in nature according to those police files.

Anyway, I will get over this fascination and leave it by- but I wasn't into his music or dancing particularly at the time and am playing catch up.

I cant really separate the man from the music I am afraid. he paid off lots of parents willing to pimp their children to him and he had some very odd behaviour and views.

I just don't get the whole "flawed genius" thing as it just seems like society giving people licence to behave appallingly to protect their "talent".

I feel the same about rapists, people who drive drunk and kill and people who abuse their partners.
