Why can't people use handles?!

NDN can't leave their house without heavily pulling the door shut which makes a loud bang and OH does the same to our internal doors. It drives me mad! I've jested with him, then asked him to pull handle down to close it and then moved on to a PA YouTube video of how to use a handle...

...typing this while baby napping & their booming around of course
