Not ashamed to be British but did cringe - probably for reasons different to everyone else's.

We run our own business and have heavily promoted the fact that our products are 'Made in Britain' - all components are sourced in England and we assemble everything ourselves. I do now feel a little less proud of that but I'm not sure why, really. I almost feel guilty for being British at the moment - although I know that's unreasonable. Still working on that one!

I am feeling ashamed to be British, with Farage and the English football fans. When I am in Europe I will make it very clear I am Scottish, which makes me sad because I voted to stay in the UK.

He should actually remember we are hoping to negotiate with Europe and he has constituents who voted him in who may be suffering with the consequences of brexit. You can disagree with people with a bit of class because nothing has been decided yet. He is a national disgrace.

What a total arse. We are coming out of the EU as per his campaign. Not something I want, but there we go. He claimed that we could forge trade agreements with EU members post exit.... Well, this isn't the way to do it.

Well the only thing I would say in Farage's defence is that he has had the benefit of spending time sitting in Brussels and listening to their twaddle, so he's better placed to have an opinion on whether they've ever done a day's work. I suspect he's actually right, sadly - I think it's a bit of a gravy train for most.

I don't like him much but sometimes, just sometimes, I think he has a point. He perhaps took an opportunity to metaphorically 'blow a raspberry' as someone up thread said.
