Only come on Mnet to talk at people, and don't ever read a bloody thing on here?

Not all. But a definite SOME.

Nope, I'm thinking Deja Vous needs to come with a DEFCON alert scale for threads on her Grin

Like we didn't know that already.

Have you never read a BF vs FF thread? Grin

Broadcasting.

Completely pointless, as far as I can see.

Just5minswithDacre · 27/06/2016 23:17

I dunno Worra. Even on BF/FF, SAHM/WOHM, Inde/State threads people read enough of the other side to find pretext for more offence before they resume yelping.

purple Grin

That's not what I meant.

It's just like a gigantic outbreak of cancel the cheque. Only with ops, instead of posts.

Seriously .....I nearly screen shot yesterday when active convos had EXACTLY THE SAME THREAD, four times.

Credit to shiny Dave for Neverendum not me.

And further credit to the clever wag on Twitter that immediately called him a bellendum.

Well I'm sick of people calling all Leave voters thick and racist.

And why did people vote Leave?

Wink

I was called a racist before the referendum result fanjo and without being asked my voting preference so I win that petty gripe hands down

I haven't even seen anyone say all Leave voters are racists.

It's like an urban myth

But I still think OP should just cancel the cheque.

What gets me is when you point out to the OPs of all these threads that THERES A TOPIC FOR THIS ----> they get all melodramatic and say they need 'space to grieve.' Thankfully it's only on mumsnet I'm seeing this hysteria.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 28/06/2016 07:38

No but I don't want to start that argument again.

On a thread about not endlessly discussing it. Irony fail.

Sorry honey..I brought it to your thread

There are deffo posters who only blast an agenda (if you are on more than one website, you can sometimes see the 'message of the day' appearing in more than one place).

I think they still have the klaxon at Labour HQ (or in this case, Remain)

There's a particular liking for AstroTurf thread titles, so they keep appearing in Active.

When the nasty other side does it, even a single suspicious thread, then they are pilloried.

Project Fear is becoming Project Doom and Project Dupe.

I think this thread is (probably inadvertently) part of Dupe. Because MN isn't exactly known for incisive or representative political debate these days but likes to pretend it is. So blaming one side for duping the other (by infiltrating new posters) was a pretty inevitable step.

Sorry, got all serious for a moment there

"THERES A TOPIC FOR THIS ---->"

'Twas annoying on when someone threw that into a thread about Corbyn. Unless amongst all the niche and barely used topics there's a 'Labour Party' one.

Dreadful when someone misunderstands a thread.

Oh, hang on....

Report
HoneyDragon · 28/06/2016 07:59

I'm not taking sides . But because people DON'T WANT to talk about it in a civilised fashion, not can't, don't want, than they just keep spouting out new threads to say their very important stuff. Rather than look for / join an existing one. And it's not hard to find and existing one at present. So they clearly don't read mnet.

It's rude, I don't like it and I judge the fuck out of them.
