Semi light hearted.

Please, please, please can you post your new threads in the Referendum section, or join an existing thread or at least make it abundantly clear in the title it's about 'you know what' so I don't make the mistake of clicking on it.

YABU. It's not your choice to make. Think you need to run a referendum on that.

Please yourself. There is a Flouncers Corner I believe.

You know what, I think there are as many threads telling people to stop posting referendum threads or move their referendum threads as there are referendum threads.

Could you please outline the benefits of opting to leave MN? Then when I opt to stay and people are still chatting shit I'll make out no-one warned me

I disagree, this is the most important and divisive political situation in living memory, of course people are going to discuss it at length and aibu is a good platform.

Oh, referendums(a?) are such jolly fun! I think we should have more of them.

We can have a referendum on your leaving OP?

You can click on a thread, think 'oh it's this again' then ignore it if it pisses you off.

The numerous, duplicate threads are about this are annoying if you don't want to contribute but it takes seconds to find something else.

It's not rocket science is it?

I agree op.

Fuckwits.

I can't stand all the wailing and attention seeking now. It's ridiculous. Friday yes, I can understand the shock but the same posts are now repeated and it's attention seeking.

I've been glued to the news since Friday as I have two businesses, so a vested intrest and especially this morning, the MPs are starting to say things may not be as bleak as we thought. There was also one saying that indeed the goverment had started to put together a brexit plan and they just need to see where they are at with it.

Please please stop with the sky is falling chicken little shit.

P1nkP0ppy · 26/06/2016 12:49

I agree too.
I can only assume they're too stupid to post on the relevant forum.

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I read the post about the sky crying tears Hmm

This is the most important event in our lifetimes and it needs to be discussed.

Most ref threads have the words referendum, brexit, leave, remain, Boris or Corbyn in the OP.

Easy enough to avoid.

I agree. It must be so annoying if you're sick of it. I am saying that as an avid poster on the EU threads (but only ones I start are in the EURef topic or politics).

The hysteria won't get us out of the mess.

Lots of threads looking at different angles - fine

Lots of absolute duplicate threads - not fine

Using the topics - is that a unicorn I see cantering by?

I'd love it if MNers used the topics more, or if MNHQ would do some sweeping off into the topic (like they did for Ebola). But I'm not holding my breath.

Yes aibu is perfect. A forum where people behave despicably with impunity coupled with the most divisive and nasty political event of my life. What fucking larks.

Topics other than Aibu and Chat and SB are hard to find, unless they appear in Active.

I spent ages looking for the Sex topic the other day.

Most of the threads have been from leave voters thinking it is unreasonable for remain voters to say mean things to them just because they have fucked the UK up. If you don't want to hear any more about it, don't read the threads. Whether or not they say it (on here on in real life) and whether or not you read it, they still think it.

PanEuropeanPan · 26/06/2016 13:12

Dear OP Snowflake,
YANBU to your own sensitivities and sense of drama. So off you pop instead of just talking about it.

ps I'd love to see how the referendum can be squeezed into the Sex topic....
