AIBU?

To think this is really childish?

My son and his girlfriend have been together for almost 15 months now.

They are both 19.

She brought him a jumper like in the picture. I don't really want to be a judgement bitch and I know I can't really tell him what and what not to wear but come on. Maybe if they were 15 but they're not, they're adults. It's okay for lounging around the house in but surely not for actually going out?

To think this is really childish?

Will he wear it? Will she feel offended if he doesn't?

He probably wear it only indoors.

I think that shirt would only be funny on a properly ugly bloke.

No, I don't like her, I love her! She is like a second daughter to me!

It's just her, my son and my daughter take the piss not stop about my 17 year old sons 16 year old girlfriend doing things like that. Saying its "cringey" and makes them sick in their mouths.

Turns out all that it was was a piss take. It was her and my daughters idea of a joke as he said he would break up with straight away if she even did anything "gay" like that.

she's made it clear it's not to actually wear outside of the house. Grin

Why are people getting angsty about silly things this evening? Confused This one, the lady who's DH asked where the town hall was, the one angsting over identical school reports that no one will remember in five years time.

And to rush on to MN and actually post about it? Confused Is it a coping mechanism for possible brexit?

You let them take the piss out of the other girl? Surely not to her face? If you do then I think that's the real issue not a bloody sweatshirt.

If she brought it for him seriously and expected him to actually wear it then it is kind of childish and hopefully they would be past that at their age but is isn't an issue is it?

I think is childish to waste money to take the piss out of someone, the average price for those top is £20 so not cheap and yes I did look.
